2 Lucky Firefly passenger drives away with a Peugeot 308 & 408

Firefly Airlines today revealed the much-anticipated Grand Prize winners of its Firefly’s Greatest 2015 Giveaway! contest at a ceremony held at Firefly’s Headquarters in Subang today.

A love to fly and a passion for participating in a contest saw two young ladies driving off with a gleaming new car each after emerging winners of the contest.”When I first got the news from Firefly that I have won the grand prize of a Peugeot 408, I was quite shocked and lost for words. However, when it dawned on me that I really have won a car, I was over the moon and ecstatic that mother luck is shining on me. I wish to thank Firefly for giving me this big angpow for 2016!” said an ecstatic Stephanie Aw Mei Hiong who works in Singapore and lives in Johor Bahru.

The Firefly’s Greatest 2015 Giveaway! contest, which kicked off on 7 December 2015, ended on 15 January 2016.

To be in the running to win these attractive vehicles, all that was needed to be done was to book any flight with Firefly between the contest period and answer a simple question by sending a text message of the answer with personal details. Each purchase with a unique confirmation booking number (PNR) was entitled to one (1) entry.

Diana Teh Fang Sheng, a housewife who lives in Klang and fly’s back to her hometown in Langkawi every month said “I joined the contest while travelling back from Langkawi at the airport. I saw the brochure and joined it just for fun without thinking that I will get the chance to win the grand prize. I did not believe at first when I got the call until I received the email confirming the news. Indeed, if you never try, you’ll never know. Thank you Firefly and Firefly has always been the mode of transportation for me and my family to travel back to my hometown because it is convenient, safe, cost effective and value for money.”

10 consolation prize winners were also present at the prize giving ceremony who each walked away with RM200 Firefly cash vouchers. This high-visibility campaign was organized as a way to reward Firefly passengers for their continued patronage.

Firefly chief executive officer Ignatius Ong, was present at the ceremony to congratulate and officially hand over the car keys to the winners. “We are glad that
