The month of December 2018 will see Malaysia In the global spotlight again when 46 Miss Tourism international Delegates from around the world will congregate here for the 21″ Edition at the Miss Tourism lntemational World Final.

This world-class pageant. to be held from 7 to 22nd December, 2018, wilt feature the 46 delegates taking part in tourism-related and promotional activities and events, culminating in the coronation of the MTI queen at the Wodd Final at the Sunway Hotel Resort & Spa in Peta|ing Java on Friday, 21 December, 2018.

Organised by D’Touch lnternational, this year’s Miss Tourism International marks its 21″ edition since the event was inaugurated in Kuching, Sarawak, in 1997. The brainchild of D’Touch International Managing Director, Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, and the Miss Tourism International was mooted to channel tourism to create and foster new relationships among the delegates while nurturing a better and closer understanding of one another’s national cultures, customs and traditions. This will be in alignment with the event’s objective of ‘Promoting Tourism, Culture and Friendship‘ while empowering the delegates to propagate these values in their respective countries.

Noteworthy of mention is the fact that the Miss Tourism International pageant is a home grown titles that has been franchised to more than 100 countries. Former Miss Tourism International winners have had gone on to carve out glittering careers, such as singers, actresses, TV hosts and news anchors. Gabriella Robinson did the country proud when she became the first Malaysian to be crowned Miss Tourism International in 2011.

Apart from the main Miss Tourism international title to be awarded on 21 December 2018, there will also be four other titles to be won, nameiy Miss Tourism Metropolitan international, Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International, Miss Tourism Global and Dreamgirl of The Year International. There will also be a host of subsidiary titles to be awarded, such as Best In National Costume, Best in Social Media, Miss Friendship, Miss Popularity and Best In Talent.

‘Glitz and Glamour’ is the theme of this year’s Miss Tourism International World Final, with work-class performances by entertainers and the delegates taking to the catwalk in their respective traditional costumes and other outfits.Since 2014, Lim Kok Wing University of Creative Technology has granted RM 3 million of scholarships to D’Touch international for the Winners of Miss Tourism International. This is to promote Edu-Tourism around the world and the Winner of this pageant has this exclusive privileges

In addition for this year, Miss Tourism International has collaborated with Fusionex Platinum Sponsor and Official Technology Partner to create for the first time the Miss Tourism International image Bank & Talent Data which will give an opportunity to the delegates a platform in advancing their career.

Miss Tourism lntemational this year also see a voting app for One Smart Stat Malaysia as Official Voting App where we will launch today and the votes from this will select 3 highest votes delegates in the Top 10 during the World Final.
