Kirin 970 is powered by an 8-core CPU and a new generation 12-core GPU. Built using a 10nm advanced process, the chipset packs 5.5 million transistors into an area of only one cmยฒ. HUAWEIโs new flagship Kirin 970 is HUAWEIโs first mobile AI computing platform featuring a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Compared to a quad-core Cortex-A73 CPU cluster, the Kirin 970’s new heterogeneous computing architecture delivers up to 25x the performance with 50x greater efficiency. Simply put, the Kirin 970 can perform the same AI computing tasks faster and with far less power. In a benchmark image recognition test, the Kirin 970 processed 2,000 images per minute, which was faster than other chips on the market.
New developments in AI require joint effort across the entire value chain, involving tens of millions of developers, and the experience and feedback of hundreds of millions of users. HUAWEI is positioning the Kirin 970 as an open platform for mobile AI, opening up the chipset to developers and partners who can find new and innovative uses for its processing capabilities.

When smartphones first came of age in the mid-2000s, techies probably resigned themselves for a future of futuristic looking mobiles. To communicate quality and stature, these devices were virtual clones, with sleek surfaces of glass, metal or plastic, presented in monochromatic shades. Fast forward to today however, colours are making a comeback in a big way!
Whether it was to break the sheer monotony of black and white or the realisation that premium customers also appreciate a pop of colour in their favourite devices, manufacturers have made waves by introducing colours as part of their smartphoneโs design language โ though initially in relatively muted shades; soft pinks and pale golds come to mind.

Misi berjaya dicapai! Hos Jejak Terer berjaya memperoleh sejumlah RM52,702 untuk lima buah rumah anak-anak yatim susulan kejayaan mereka berbasikal sejauh lebih 500 kilometer dari Kuala Lumpur sehingga ke Langkawi dalam tempoh lima hari selaku usaha mengumpul dana kebajikan disokong oleh penyedia perkhidmatan e-Kerajaan terbesar Malaysia, MY E.G Services Berhad.
Eksperimen sosial unik ini ditayangkan di program travelog waktu sebenar, Jejak Terer dan disiarkan di laman online gaya hidup dan platform strim video Malaysia, hurr.tv bermula 19 Ogos hingga 23 Ogos 2017. Dua hos, Mior Luqman Hakim atau lebih dikenali sebagai Myo Oh Chentaku dan Zahir Zainuddin mula berbasikal dari Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur sehingga ke Dataran Lang, Pulau Langkawi tanpa sebarang wang dan hanya berbekalkan makanan yang terhad serta telefon bimbit. Sepanjang perjalanan, mereka hanya bergantung kepada ihsan orang ramai dan peminat yang memberikan sumbangan makanan serta tempat tinggal dan sebagai balasan mereka perlu melakukan sesuatu sebagai tanda berterima kasih.
Hari pertama menyaksikan Myo dan Zahir mula melakukan kayuhan tepat jam 7 pagi dari Dataran Merdeka. Perjalanan diteruskan sehingga ke Sungai Buloh sebelum mereka berhenti di Kuala Selangor dan membantu peniaga berhampiran berniaga untuk mendapatkan minuman penghilang dahaga. 100 kilometer pertama berjaya dicapai di Sekinchan. Ihsan Mak Edah, mereka berdua mendapat tempat berehat dan menamatkan perjalanan bagi hari pertama.
Perjalanan hari kedua menyaksikan Myo dan Zahir menuju ke Sungai Besar di mana mereka bertemu dengan Pak Jamal yang menyediakan makanan tengahari kepada mereka setelah membantu menyiram tumbuhan di sekitar rumahnya. Kayuhan diteruskan sehingga ke Teluk Intan. Melepaskan lelah di Menara Condong Teluk Intan, mereka dihampiri peminat yang mengikuti siaran langsung perkembangan mereka dari semasa ke semasa dengan bekalan makanan dan minuman. Terus bernasib baik, mereka dapat bermalam di rumah individu bernama Dhia. Sebagai balasan atas budi baik Dhia dan keluarga, Myo dan Zahir membantu membasuh pinggan dan memotong buah.
Pada hari ketiga, duo berkenaan berjaya mencapai jarak 200 kilometer di Kampung Gajah dari Teluk Intan. Perjalanan mereka kemudiannya menemui masalah apabila Zahir kehilangan jejak Myo. Meneruskan kayuhan selepas bertemu semula, mereka berdua terlibat dalam kemalangan menyebabkan Myo mengalami kecederaan di bahagian bahunya dan terpaksa dikejarkan ke hospital. Misi perlu diteruskan. Zahir menggalas tanggungjawab dengan berkayuh secara solo sehingga ke Trong dan berjaya mencapai jarak 300 kilometer. Mereka bermalam di Taiping di rumah peminat bernama Hanif. Sebagai balasan atas ihsan Hanif, mereka melakukan kerja-kerja rumah antaranya membasuh pinggan dan pakaian.
Perjalanan hari keempat bermula dari Taiping dan setibanya di Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang mereka berjaya merekodkan jarak sejauh 400 kilometer. Berehat seketika di Permatang Pauh, mereka berdua menolong peniaga jalanan yang menjual aneka kuih untuk mendapatkan minuman dan makanan. Meneruskan kayuhan sehingga ke Sungai Petani, mereka bermalam di rumah kenalan lama Myo, Haziq. Sebagai tanda berterima kasih, Myo menyanyikan lagu terbaharunya kepada Haziq dan rakan-rakan. Mereka turut menikmati makan malam barbeku yang disediakan.
Kayuhan terakhir di hari kelima! Duo berkenaan memulakan cabaran berbasikal dari Sungai Petani sehingga ke Gunung Jerai. Hanya berbaki 10 kilometer ke Kuala Kedah, namun keadaan angin yang kuat melambatkan kayuhan mereka. Setibanya di Kuala Kedah mereka berdepan cabaran untuk mendapatkan tiket feri ke Pulau Langkawi tanpa sebarang wang. Ihsan orang awam yang membelikan tiket feri, mereka akhirnya selamat tiba di Pulau Langkawi dan berjaya menamatkan misi berkenaan!
Lima hari penuh keringat yang sangat bermakna kepada Myo dan Zahir. Pengalaman mereka berjaya menemukan orang ramai dan peminat yang sentiasa menyokong dan membantu mereka sekaligus membuktikan bahawa rakyat Malaysia terdiri daripada warga prihatin dan berhati mulia.
Sebagai penaja utama program, MY E.G Services Berhad akan menyumbangkan sejumlah RM10,000 bagi setiap 100 kilometer kayuhan dicapai dan menggandakan derma yang diterima oleh orang ramai sepanjang program ini berlangsung. Sempena meraikan Hari Kemerdekaan Malaysia yang ke-60, HACTION! mengumpulkan enam orang pembuat filem untuk merakamkan saat-saat terbaik Malaysia menerusi lensa kamera mereka.

Para pembuat filem HACTION! dipilih daripada komuniti penerbit filem bebas yang mewakili gaya dan genre yang berbeza. Kebanyakan karya mereka telah menerima pengiktirafan peneraju industri tempatan dan luar negara.
Setiap pembuat filem dikehendaki menerbitkan sebuah video pendek tidak melebihi 5 minit yang menonjolkan keindahan Malaysia serta perpaduan, keamanan dan kesejahteraan sepanjang enam dekad. Keenam-enam mereka dibekalkan dengan sebuah kamera Panasonic LUMIX GH5 untuk membuat rakaman audio dan visual, dana sebanyak RM4,000 untuk penerbitan dan tempoh selama 30 hari ini menyempurnakan filem dan menyerahkan cerita pendek mereka.

The newly-minted ONE Featherweight World Champion achieved one of his dreams by becoming a world champion in astounding fashion.However, the sweet victory was about more than just the belt for Nguyen, instead it was all for his family.Nguyen may have been a menace during his adolescence, but he never had to look far to find inspiration and set himself on the right path. For him, it was right at home and came in the form of the man he called โdad.โ
โMy dad worked hard just for us to get by. We were not the richest family, and we were not as poor as other people out here, but we got by. He was my sole inspiration to work hard, just the way he was able to provide for his family,โ he said.
While Nguyenโs father was not particularly fond of his son stepping into the cage, he watched with a keen eye and supported him nonetheless.In July 2012, Nguyen made his professional debut and proved to be quite the talent as soon as the bell rang.Nguyen was flawless, winning every bout en route to capturing the BRACE featherweight championship belt in November 2013. Like a good son, he brought the belt to his father shortly after winning it.
โMy dad looked at it. He was all happy and taking pictures with it. It was awesome,โ he recalled. โAnd then he said, โAlright, you got the belt now. Enough. Just call it quits.โ No parent likes to see their child getting injured in a match or anything like that, so he said, โEnough now. No more.โโ
Sadly, it was the last thing Nguyenโs father said to him with regard to his professional martial arts career as his dad tragically passed away just a few weeks later.
His father had undergone a bone marrow transplant so he could get more white blood cells into his body. The procedure was initially a success, but the healing process taking longer than usual.
As doctors were preparing to do more testing, Nguyenโs father contracted the flu, and that eventually turned into pneumonia and took his life.
โI never experienced any hardship or heartbreak until then, and I will never forget that day. He was in Melbourne at that time, so I flew into Melbourne to see him. Everything was happening so fast, and then he was gone. I did not even get to speak to him, and there are a lot of things I wish I could have said to him. It was heartbreaking,โ Nguyen shared.
Nearly four years later, Nguyen still carries the loss of his father like an anchor around his neck.Even though Nguyen is constantly reminded of his dad, he knows that his world-title winning performance was a fitting way to pay tribute to him.With tears streaming from his eyes, Nguyen kneeled at the center of the ONE Championship cage, basking in the adulation poured upon him.While the sought-after belt is draped over his shoulder, Nguyen expressed a wondrous rhetoric in his post-bout interview.
โThis is for my dad. He was my inspiration for the whole camp when I mentally broke. (He and) the boys kept me together,โ he stated.
Two days after accomplishing the monumental victory and claiming the No. 1 status in ONE Championshipโs stacked featherweight division, Nguyen visited his grave with the belt.
โI am doing this all for him. One big title to put the icing on the cake,โ he said. โItโs the only thing I wanted to do once I got home. I hope he is so proud right now.โ
