The Top 20 Malaysians of Supermodel International 2017 Press Conference have successfully ended on 16^th December 2016 at EZ9 Live House Whisky & Wine Bar. Former beauty queens such as Adelina (Miss Eco Tourism 2014), Jacqueline (Supermodel International Malaysia 2012), Jane Koo (Miss Grand Malaysia 2014), Yoyo (Miss KL Earth Water 2015) have attended the press conference.

The press conference first started with introduction on Supermodel International and Supermodel International Malaysia 2017.

The 20 beautiful top contestants gave a brief introduction about themselves and took group photos on stage. The guests were overwhelmed by the beauty of the top 20 contestants and applauded them upon their appearance. After that, our Winner of Supermodel International 2016 – Miss Josephine Tan began her speech and sharing session. Josephine Tan was the first and only Malaysian who have won the World’s Supermodel International 2016 among the other 40 countries’ representatives. She wished to inspire more Malaysian young ladies to challenge themselves to reach out to the world as she has proven that it is possible to make your dreams come true if you dare to dream. During her speech, voting papers that were given out to the guests during registration were collected back to calculate the winner of Media Awards. After the thank you note session for the sponsors, the winner of Media Awards – Miss Goh Ee Yin was announced and invited to the centre of the stage for photo session. The press conference then ended with the group photo session of the top 20 contestants with the guests and sponsors.

2. Mike Tyson vs. Terry Crews

Anyone who has seen White Chicks will not be able to forget Terry Crews singing to “A Thousand Miles”. This performance saw him giving what seems to be his best rendition yet as he begins on the piano and proceeds to strip his shirt off as the track progresses. Honestly, we’re not sure which version is better.

3. Julianne Hough vs. Derek Hough

Professional dancer Derek Hough took the stage to perform his rendition of Sia’s “Chandelier” and nailed not only the lyrics but the dance moves as well. Let’s face it, those moves are pretty difficult and a little weird to most of us but Derek pulls them off easily, while looking like an adult, male version of Maddie Ziegler.

4. Josh Gad vs. Kaley Cuoco

We’re getting all the Britney vibes just from looking at this picture. In this episode, Kaley Cuoco recreated Britney Spears’ iconic performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U” at the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2001. She not only dressed and looked the part, she even brought a yellow python on stage with her!

5. Eva Longoria vs. Hayden Panettiere

A memorable moment from this episode would have to be Christina Aguilera’s guest appearance alongside Hayden Panettiere during her performance of “Lady Marmalade”. Aguilera looked amazing as always, which made us forget who we were supposed to be focusing on in the first place.

6. Anna Kendrick vs. John Krasinski

Anna Kendrick stole the show with her performance of One Direction’s “Steal My Girl”. What made it so amazing? She sang to a slide show of competitor, John Krasinski’s wife – Emily Blunt, and even unveiled a custom shirt with a heart shaped photo of herself and Blunt. Now that is something you needed to see for yourself.

7. Dwayne Johnson vs. Jimmy Fallon

We can’t talk enough about the best moments and this includes Dwayne Johnson and Jimmy Fallon’s battle. After all, this was the debut episode which set the tone for the rest of the show. It featured Johnson’s iconic eyebrow-raise, which is not something you expect to see during a performance of Bee Gees track “Stayin Alive”.

The FIM Asia Supermoto Championship 2016 series made it to the final stop of the year. This time around, it is the Shah Alam Stadium that will be the hosting ground for 21 of the best riders from around the Asian region, as well as Australia, United Kingdom and New Zealand.  Located in the Selangor state of Malaysia, the Shah Alam Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium that’s mostly used for football matches. It is home to the Football Association of Selangor, one of the nation’s top professional football club. It has also hosted some of biggest European football clubs with the likes of FC Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Having a seating capacity of 80,372 and 5,500 parking bays, the stadium is Malaysia’s second largest stadium.

Come December 17 & 18, the grounds that surround the nation’s prided football stadium will be transformed into a 1.15 kilometre Supermoto race track of tarmac and dirt. As every track in this year’s championship had something different to offer, such is the case for this next track. CEO of Asia Supersports Group, Satheswaran Mayachandran stated, “The layout has been designed as such to make it a high-speed track”.  Trackside spectators can expect a lot of nail-biting lightning action with plenty of drifting and overtaking being thrown into the mix. Earlier this year, the championship inked a deal with KTM Malaysia which resulted in the latter supplying a set of brand new KTM 450 SX-F bikes to the former. “The new KTM 450 SX-F bikes may perform well on this high-speed track due to the machine’s outright power and delivery,” he added.

Aside from being able to witness some of the best Supermoto riders duke it out, event attendees will also be able to catch Malaysia’s first ever city-built enduro track. Built with a combination of natural and man-made obstacles, the track will see professional extreme enduro riders compete in the inaugural Pangkolo City Enduro Challenge that’s set to take place in conjunction with our Grand Finale. Spectators will also be entertained with a flea market of a hundred over vendors selling vintage goods, antiques, collectors’ items and much more.

Jika sebelum ini mereka sukses dengan Konsert Dato Siti Nurhaliza & Friends 2016, Yonder Music bakal tampil dengan sebuah persembahan istimewa yang dijangka tidak kurang hebatnya.

Jendela 2017 menyaksikan Yonder Music menjalin kolaborasi dengan mempersembahkan sebuah persembahan istimewa ikon muzik tanah air yang sentiasa menjadi pujaan ramai.

Yonder Music Live Series By The Lake: Anuar Zain & You yang bakal diadakan pada 21 Januari 2017, di Panggung Anniversari, Taman Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur akan bermula pada pukul 8 malam dan dijangka akan menjadi acara pembuka tirai tahun 2017.

Sementelah, persembahan istimewa tersebut juga merupakan kesinambungan promosi album terbaru Anuar Zain.

Menurut Pengarah Urusan Yonder Music, Adam Kidron, pihak mereka teruja untuk merealisasikan persembahan istimewa ini yang dijangka akan mendapat sambutan luar biasa di kalangan peminat.

Melihat kepada rekod Anuar sebagai penyanyi lelaki paling diminati banyak wanita sehingga ada yang sanggup menangis dan sering ‘diterkam’ dalam banyak persembahannya, Adam optimis “Anuar Zain & You” akan menjadi persembahan pembuka tahun 2017 yang paling diingati kelak.

“Saya pertama kali diperkenalkan dengan muzik Anuar Zain oleh seorang rakan yang patah hati. Dia memainkan lagu Sedetik Lebih berulang kali sehingga saya sendiri tertarik dengan Anuar.

“Kini, saya pula yang sedang mabuk dengan lagu Andainya Takdir.

“Jadi besar harapan saya agar kolaborasi ini berjaya mencapai matlamatnya. Saya sendiri berbesar hati untuk membawakan “Anuar Zain & You” kepada semua peminat dalam suasana yang lebih intimasi, sesuai dengan judul persembahannya,” ujar Adam mengenai siri Yonder Music Live bersama Anuar Zain.

Sementara itu, Anuar sendiri berbesar hati untuk menghiburkan peminatnya dalam skala besar dan bersifat mesra. Beliau yang masih di dalam rangkaian promosi album terkininya di gedung Mydin terpilih seluruh negara menyifatkan persembahan yang bakal dilangsungkan di Panggung Anniversari ini sebagai satu lokasi pertemuan empat mata yang mengujakan baginya.

“Besar harapan saya agar persembahan yang dirangka ini akan berjalan lancar dan menjadi medan kasih sayang dan silaturahim saya dengan peminat.

“Terima kasih kepada pihak Yonder Music yang sudi berkolaborasi sekali gus merealiasikan “Anuar Zain & You” ini,” ujar Anuar.

Bakal dilangsungkan selama 90 minit, “Anuar Zain & You” akan menyaksikan Anuar mendendangkan 14 lagu hit beliau.

Disediakan keseluruhan pengisiannya oleh Anuar Zain Network, persembahan kali ini mendapat mendapat sentuhan Sze Wan sebagai pengarah muzik bersama seramai 14 pemuzik, di samping Jennifer Thompson yang bertindak sebagai pengarah persembahan

Jika sebelum ini pentas Hard Rock Café Melaka pernah di warnai oleh jalur muzik berat seumpamanya yang di bawa oleh kumpulan tempatan.  Ternyata kehebatan aksi- aksi kumpulan tersebut berjaya mendapat sokongan di kalangan pencinta muzik berat apatah lagi ianya sedikit sebanyak membuka ruang untuk kumpulan lain beraksi di pentas yang sama.

Ruang litup Hard Rock Cafe Melaka sekali lagi bakal bergema dengan penampilan jentera hebat seperti Athotorgh, Larrong, Malex dan Narsamum.  Keempat-empat mereka sudah pasti mampu untuk menghimpunkan fanatika mereka pada 30 Disember nanti.Athotorgh, jenama yang tidak perlu dirungkaikan lagi kehebatan serta kewibawaan mereka.  Apatah lagi band yang bergenrekan retro death/thrash 80an ini sentiasa menjadi ikon kepada kumpulan-kumpulan baru yang berjinak dengan irama sedemikian.

Sekitar penghujung tahun 80an, Anator diguna pakai sebagai nama band mereka malah lebih gemar dengan wirama yang dibawakan oleh kumpulan Possessed, Sodom dan Slayer. Masalah pertukaran anggota adalah biasa bagi sesebuah band.  Akhirnya kumpulan yang berasal dari Ipoh, Perak secara rasminya menggunakan nama Athotorgh pada tahun 1992.Kewujudan mereka dalam kancah muzik bawah tanah tempatan terus diperkukuhkan setelah hadir dengan demo “The Rites” yang telah diriliskan pada tahun 1994.  Athotorgh yang dibarisi oleh Promaster, Dreamstone dan Old-T akhirnya tampil dengan sebuah EP yang berjudul “Promaster Dieyana” yang telah diriliskan oleh Ultra Hingax Productions pada tahun 1995.

Rata-rata individu yang berada di dalam barisan penggempur Athotorgh bukanlah pemuzik sebarangan.  Mereka sebelum ini pernah mengganggotai beberapa kumpulan lain, antaranya adalah Universal Doctrine, MassGrave, Necrotic Chaos dan sebagainya.  Inilah istimewanya Ipoh Metal Militan.Lantaran sambutan yang cukup memberangsangkan terhadap Ep “Promaster Dieyana”, pihak Morbid Invasion Red dengan kerjasama Gempita Records telah meriliskan kembali EP ini dalam bentuk Vinyl dalam tahun 2009.  Athotorgh juga terlibat dalam siri kompilasi Ipoh’s Metal Militant Supremacist terbitan Ultra Hingax Production yang telah diterbitkan pada tahun 1998.

Larrong pula adalah salah sebuah band yang bertunjangkan genre ektrim metal, ianya telah ditubuhkan pada penghujung tahun 1991 di daerah Matu, Sarawak. Ketika itu Larrong di barisi oleh Hadi – Bass, Mail –Gitar dan Aziz – Gitar/Vokal.  Berpaksikan muzik dambaan Slayer, Massacre, Morbid Angel dan Napalm Death akhirnya membuahkan idea untuk menghasilkan lagu ciptaan sendiri, maka lahirlah Reh/Demo pertama yang berjudul “Curse Of Devastation”.Reh/Demo yang telah diriliskan pada tahun 1993 ini ternyata membawa tuah buat Larrong kerana berjaya menarik peminat muzik ekstrim metal di Malaysia serta di beri peluang untuk beraksi di gig-gig yang di anjurkan sekitar Sarawak ketika itu.

Kehangatan yang didambakan akhirnya menemui jalan buntu apabila Mail memutuskan untuk tidak lagi bersama Larrong kerana meneruskan kerjayanya di Semenanjung Malaysia.  Namun semuanya bersifat sementara apabila Tazudin memutuskan untuk bersama dan menggalas tugas sebagai vokalis dan gitaris.  Semangat Larrong kembali bernyala lantas mengabdikan sebuah single yang berjudul Blasphemous Mantra, ianya diriliskan pada tahun 1994.Pada tahun 2000, Alphi tampil untuk menggalas tugas sebagai vokalis untuk EP “Dakan Perana Tada”.2011, Larrong mengeluarkan split album dengan band Zorboothusdeath metal band dari Medan, Indonesia di mana lagu EP “Dakan Perana Tana serta beberapa lagu live mereka dimasukkan ke dalam split album ini.

Tahun 2012, Larrong memasuki studio semula dan merakamkan 3 lagu baru serta sebuah lagu cover dari Celtic Frost. EP bertajuk “Nuclear Armageddon” ini dikeluarkan di bawah label Muzik Box Production. Pada tahun yang sama Larrong membuat jelajah sulung mereka di Indonesia iaitu di Medan, Jakarta & Bandung.Oktober 2016, Larrong mengeluarkan semuala EP “Nuclear Armageddon” dalam format kaset dan kini dalam proses pra-rakaman album terbaru mereka.  Larrong kembali aktif hingga kini dan telah meriliskan beberapa material serta terlibat dalam beberapa siri kompilasi antaranya ialah Curse Of Devastation-Demo (1993), The Eastern Shaman- Promo (1996), DakanPeranaTana EP (2000) Hellbangers Dominion Compilation (2008),  Angkatan Metal Malaysia Compilation (2010), Split Album Larrong/Zorboothus 2011) dan Nuclear Armageddon EP (2012).

Malex ditubuhkan secara rasminya pada tahun 2000, namun begitu secara umumnya setiap anggota yang membarisi Malex bukanlah pemuzik yang harus di pandang rendah.  Malah kesemuanya pernah membarisi kumpulan-kumpulan rock sekitar tahun 80an. Malik selaku gitaris pernah menganggotai kumpulan Aces yang di tubuhkan pada tahun 1987, selain beliau Allahyarham Syed Hassan ( bassis kumpulan Sweet Charity) juga turut serta di dalam kumpulan Aces.

“Euphoria” adalah judul abum pertama kumpulan Malex yang relah diriliskan pada thun 2002. Ternyata album pertama yang dihasilkan telah mendapat reaksi positif di kalangan pencinta muzik rock sejati.  Tahun 2004 Malex tampil dengan album kedua yang berjudul “Euphoria 2”.  Kehadiran Malex umpama gunung berapi yang kembali memuntahkan laharnya.  Buktinya, nama mereka terus dikenali malah turut di undang untuk beraksi sebagai opening act ketika Steve Vai dan Joe Satriani mengadakan persembahan di Singapura.  Selain itu mereka juga turut di undang untuk mengadakan persembahan di Anugerah Planet Muzik pada tahun 2007.

Lantaran sambutan yang cukup menggalakkan serta sokongan yang tiada putusnya. Tahun 2007 Malex tampil dengan album “Wira Cosmo”, dengan genre yang lebih bertenaga Malex seakan lari daripada genre rock yang mereka bawakan sebelum ini.  Ternyata di bawah panji power/speed metal Malex telah melebarkan sayapnya hingga ke luar negara serta beraksi Indonesia, Thailand dan Malaysia.

“Khayalan Illusi” terus menjadi penanda aras bahawa Malex tidak pernah mati, album yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2014 ini turut mendapat kerjasama Muzik Box Production sepertimana album “Wira Cosmo”.

Narsamum bukanlah nama yang asing buat penggemar muzik underground tempatan.  Band yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 1990 ini terlebih dahulu menggunakan nama Blaspherion.  Namun ianya terpaksa di tukar kerana nama yang sama turut di guna oleh kumpulan yang berasal daripada Belgium.

Bagi membuktikan bahawa kewujudan mereka bukanlah hanya sekadar memeriahkan persada muzik bawah tanah tempatan, maka pada tahun 1993 Narsamum mengeluarkan demo pertama mereka yang berjudul ‘Blasphemy..Revenge..Reincarnation”. Tidak hadir dengan demo pertama, malah Narsamum turut mengukir sejarah tersendiri kerana menjadi antara kumpulan terawal daripada Johor yang berjaya melahirkan demo.

‘Blasphemy..Revenge..Reincarnation” seakan membuka ruang litup penggemar muzik bawah tanah tempatan khususnya dan fanatika ekstrim metal di Johor khasnya kerana jenama Narsamum terus mendapat liputan yang luas di dalam fanzine tempatan dan luar negara malah turut mendapat undangan untuk beraksi di gigs-gigs yang di adakan di Malaysia dan Singapura.

Dengan jolokan Dewa Death Metal Selatan, kewujudan Narsamum telah dihidu oleh pihak Muzik Box Production.  Sebuah album mini yang berjudul “Dream Of Death” telah dihasilkan pada tahun 2000.  Apa yang lebih membanggakan, Narsamum turut diberi peluang sebagai opening act untuk beraksi di konsert Napalm Death yang telah di adakan pada 1 April 2001.

Narsamum juga turut terlibat dalam beberapa siri kompilasi yang telah diriliskan oleh label tempatan, antaranya adalah Panggilan Pulau Puaka 2 (Psychic Scream 1999), Sengatan Selatan (Muzik Box Production 2002), Metalik Klinik Asia (Rotorcops 2003) dan Tribute To Cromok (EMI 2007).

Penghujung tahun 2016 ini Athotorgh, Larrong, Malex dan Narsamum bakal beraksi di atas satu pentas di Hard Rock Cafe Melaka pada 30 Disember.  Peminat yang ingin menyaksikan kehebatan jentera pelbagai genre ini boleh mendapatkan tiket yang berharga RM50 yang kini telah mula di jual.
