Hari Terbuka NBOS 2016  bakal berlangsung 14-18 Ogos 2016 ini bertujuan untuk berkongsi pengalaman Malaysia melaksanakan program transformasi sosial berdasarkan prinsip NBOS seperti impak tinggi, kos rendah, pelaksanaan yang pantas dan mampan. Hari Terbuka NBOS 2016 ini juga memberi peluang kepada rakyat untuk mendapatkan maklumat lebih meluas serta berkongsi informasi mengenai pelbagai inisiatif di bawah NBOS yang dilaksanakan oleh Kerajaan. Dijangka lebih 7000 orang akan menghadiri Hari Terbuka NBOS ini dan program ini akan dirasmikan oleh YAB Perdana Menteri Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak  pada 16 Ogos 2016 (Selasa).

YAB PM turut dijangka akan melancarkan Buku Laporan (Report Card) NBOS 2016. Hari Terbuka NBOS yang bersempena dengan NBOS International Week ini juga akan dilaksanakan bersekali dengan program-program lain yang antaranya  Pengundian Awam / Cabutan Undi PR1MA (Perumahan Rakyat 1 Malaysia) pada 14 Ogos 2016 (Ahad), hadiah cabutan bertuah untuk pengunjung serta lelongan amal oleh artis-artis popular di Pentas Utama .

Saluran komedi nombor satu Malaysia, Astro Warna memperkenalkan sebuah lagi program realiti baharu yang bakal menggeletek penonton di rumah. Lawak Solo bakal mencari pelapis pelawak solo tanahair yang boleh mencuit hati peminat dunia komedi negara menerusi lawak bersahaja yang dilakukan bersendirian. Lawak Solo dijadualkan bersiaran setiap hari Jumaat, jam 10.00 malam mulai Oktober ini secara eksklusif menerusi Astro Warna (Saluran 132) dalam pakej Mustika dan ditayangkan serentak di Mustika HD (Saluran 134).

Para peserta Lawak Solo bakal diuji dengan pelbagai cabaran komedi bertemakan stand-up, muzikal dan sebagainya. Hari  National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) 2016 bakal diadakan mulai 14 – 20 Ogos depan bertempat di Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya (PICC). Ia merupakan anjuran Kementerian Kewangan dan JPM.

NBOS berfungsi sebagai asas bagi Strategi Malaysian National Development (MyNDS) yang akan membimbing Rancangan Malaysia ke-11 dari 2016 hingga 2020.Strategi Lautan Biru Kebangsaan (NBOS) yang dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2009 telah diilhamkan oleh YAB Perdana Menteri. NBOS menekankan kepada pelaksanaan program transformasi sosial di mana sehingga kini sebanyak 93 inisiatif telah berjaya dilaksanakan. Doogee Malaysia has launched the company’s latest entry level smartphone known as Doogee X5 Max in the Malaysian market. In order to meet different market demand, Doogee has released the standard version and another variant with higher specifications namely Doogee X5 Max Pro.

In Doogee X5 Max, we can see the combination of basic components with some advanced features that users are looking forward to when they are searching for their new smartphone.Over the past few years, consumers slowly can accept lower end smartphones because Chinese smartphone manufacturers such as Doogee are capable of making high-quality performance for an affordable price. For instance, the Doogee X5 Max is one good example of low price smartphone that is capable of offering decent performance.

Despite being made out of plastic, the Doogee X5 Max comes with metalized frames for better resistance which is easier to hold the device single-handedly. Its body dimension measures at 14.15 x 6.97 x 1.04 cm and weighing in at 145 grams.The X5 Max sports a 5.0 inches IPS screen that offers 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution which is equivalent to approximately 294 pixels-per-inch of pixel density. It is capable of taking nice and clear pictures during your daily use. The front camera features a 5MP snapper that has a 1.4 μm pixel size with f/2.0 aperture which can take decent selfie shot as well.

For those who are worry about lower end smartphone do not come with proper security protection, prepare to be amazed by what Doogee X5 Max has to offer. Doogee added a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel of Doogee X5 max to add extra security protection to the device. This feature normally found on high-end devices, but Doogee understood the importance of security feature for smartphone therefore implemented it into the X5 Max. The fingerprint sensor support 360-degree identification and up to five fingerprints can be saved. Apart from unlocking the screen, the fingerprint sensor also comes with additional functions too such as lock up a particular app that require fingerprint recognition to unlock etc.

Another selling point of the Doogee X5 Max lies on its battery. Hailing from all over Malaysia including Bau, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, Keningau, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Marudi, Mukah, Penampang and Selangor, the finalists will be competing for the coveted title of MGIM 2016 and three major international titles: Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Tourism Queen International.

This national event aims to empower women, celebrating the beauty, diversity and culture of Malaysia and its people. The exciting 10-day Pageant Week (27^th July – 6^th August) will be packed with beneficial educational activities such as health and social awareness events, charity activities, personal grooming workshops and many more leading up to the coronation Grand Finale Charity Gala Night on 6th August at e.City Hotel. These activities range from tutoring refugee children, volunteering at soup kitchens and becoming health advocates to participating in fitness camps, personal style workshops and public speaking courses.

Founded and organised by MerveilleuxM Production, a home-grown production company from Miri Sarawak, MGIM, has sent more than 20 winners and representatives to multiple beauty pageants internationally since 2011. In 2014, MGIM was the first pageant in Malaysia to crown a historic breakthrough of five coveted international titles. This year, the top three winners will be representing Malaysia against over 70 countries at the annual World Finals of the third and fifth largest pageant in the world, Miss International in Japan and Miss Supranational in Poland respectively as well as Miss Tourism Queen International in China in the upcoming months.

“Throughout the pageant week, we will be focusing on the finalists personal growth as well as promoting opportunities towards the enhancement of their potentials, talents and goals,” added Marlene.

The finalists were selected after a rigorous audition and interview process, which started since February. Miss International 2013 Winner, Bea Santiago, former Miss Australia Gemma Taylor, Malaysian supermodel Amber Chia and award winning actress Cristina Suzanne will be amongst the esteemed judges of MGIM 2016. The judges will be looking out for strong and outstanding personalities who exemplify the epitome of grace, beauty, intelligence and compassion as well as passion to serve the community and country.

The total winning cash and prizes are worth up to RM150,000 which includes a one-year ambassador contract with MGIM and an all expenses paid trip to Japan, Poland and China for representation. The MGIM winners will also be official ambassadors to a few charity organisations upon crowning.

Other subsidiary titles that will also be awarded during the pageant week are Miss Talent, Best in National Costume, Miss Personality, Miss Body Beautiful, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Social Media Queen, Miss Crowning Glory and Miss Photogenic.

Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is usher-ing in another unforgettable after-race concert at the 2016 FORMULA 1 PETRONAS MALAYSIA GRAND PRIX taking place from 30 September to 2 October 2016. Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Usher will be performing at the 18^th edition of the exciting F1 After-Race Concert that is sure to thrill fans.

“Motorsports fans at the F1 Malaysia Grand Prix have come to expect world-class entertainment to follow the masterful performances on the track at the world’s premier four-wheel race. Bertempat di Panggung Sari, konsert yang dibawakan oleh Nadira Music Management ini akan bermula pada 8.30 malam. Menariknya tentang Cinta Concert ini ialah bukan sahaja daripada pemilihan lagu artis yang terlibat tetapi juga produksi konsert yang menitikberatkan soal pementasan dan rekaan yang pasti memukau mata penonton yang hadir kelak.

Sebagai informasi,Nadira Adnan telah muncul dengan album perdananya yang diberi judul ISI HATI. Lagu-lagu dari album yang diedarkan di Malaysia dan Indonesia ini akan diperdengarkan buat pertama kalinya secara langsung buat para peminat di Malaysia.Gementar namun penuh pengharapan, Nadira Adnan yang kini berinjak ke usia 19 tahun telah melalui proses persediaan intensif untuk konsert ini sejak bulan Mei lalu. Di selang seli dengan jadual pembelajaran sebagai pelajar perubatan, Nadira menjalani kelas vokal di Indonesia.

“Saya sangat teruja namun gementar kerana ini merupakan persembahan terbesar saya buat pertama kalinya. Saya seakan tidak percaya kerana dapat membuat persembahan bersama nama-nama besar industri hiburan tempatan yang merupakan inspirasi saya. Saya harap semua yang terlibat serta penonton turut merasai keterujaan saya. Saya berharap usaha serta penat lelah saya akan membuahkan hasil,”ujar Nadira Adnan yang kini terkenal dengan lagu Sayang.

Menurut Joe Flizzow pula, “Saya tidak sabar untuk menghiburkan penonton dan membuat persembahan di pentas yang penuh berprestij.”Selain itu,Noh Salleh yang kini terkenal dengan lagu Angin Kencang merasakan ini merupakan sebuah peluang yang baik untuk dirinya.

“Dapat bergandingan dengan nama-nama besar di dalam industry muzik tanah air merupakan satu kebanggan buat saya,”ujar Noh.
