With its military grade timekeeping precision and long￾standing active endorsements with sporting tournaments and world class athletes, Casio has been unveiled as the official timekeeper for the AFF Suzuki Cup in August 2020. To commemorate this special event and to rally support for our national players, Team Harimau Malaya, Casio Malaysia has launched a limited edition watch as a gift to our national players and team officials.

A watch presentation took place recently where the Managing Director of Casio Malaysia,
Tezuka Itsuro unveiled the watches and presented to the President of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Datuk Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin, for our national players before they departed for the top football tournament in Southeast Asia that is currently taking place from December 5, 2021 to January 1, 2022 in Singapore.

The limited-edition watch based on the GBD-100-1A7 model from the G-SQUAD line subtly
features the iconic black and yellow stripes, which are the team colors of Harimau Malaya.
In line with the uniqueness of our very own animal spirit, the same boldness will be in the
spotlight once again to inject the same passion, drive and fierceness of our national team
which they proudly display with this wearable technology in the international sporting arena.
The AFF Suzuki Cup logo is also visible on the soft urethane watch band to commemorate
the event.

The GBD-100-1A7 model stays true to G-SHOCK’s signature heavy-duty rugged look designed for extreme durability whilst powered by the iconic stripes of Harimau Malaya, signifying the fire and passion that all Malaysians have in representing Malaysia in the eyes of the world. With a host of sensor features and functions, this is a timepiece that has defied conventional watchmaking logic that is precise, functional and can withstand the toughest of environments while making a timeless fashion statement.

Camouflage print has long been a favourite in high streetwear staple, and thanks to multiple fresh interpretations that lend it a cool factor; luxury brands have been incorporating this element into their designs of late. Hence, it is no surprise that G-SHOCK has raised her stakes in both the high street domain with the newly released camouflage print in her iconic full metal timepieces.

GMW-B5000TCM-1 is extremely lightweight and easy on the wrist as it is made up of titanium where these features are universally known for. The use of titanium makes it 57 grams lighter than the use of stainless steel models. An onerous and laborious work of art where each case band needs to be set by hand for the laser processing to create the camouflage pattern; that a dedicated production line has to be specially put in place.

The surface of the metal is finished with a diamond like carbon (DLC) coating that protects it against scratching and other damage and laser engraved with a distinctive camouflage pattern. The square-face design of the timepiece inherits plenty of the DNA of the original G-SHOCK DW-5000C.

Meanwhile, the MTG-B1000DCM-1A is an elevated statement piece that features an analogue display and sapphire crystal. Similar to the GMW-B5000TCM-1, the metal of this new timepiece is laser engraved with a distinctive camouflage pattern after a black ion plated (IP) coating is applied to its stainless steel case and band. The inside surface of the layer composite band incorporates lightweight, highly wear-resistant fine resin parts for an improved fit.

Finding the perfect balance between modern city lifestyles and the great outdoors, the GMW-B5000TCM-1 and MTG-B1000DCM-1A come equipped with standard G-SHOCK technology including Bluetooth connectivity with the G-SHOCK Connected app, Two Way Time Sync technology, and Multi-Band 6 self-adjusting atomic timekeeping to ensure the most accurate hour and date display wherever you go. Both watches are solar powered and stay water resistant to 200 metres, and even carry a phone finder feature.
