Gelombang muzik rock yang melanda industri hiburan tanahair pada tahun ini sememangnya memberikan impak besar terhadap peminat- peminat muzik tempatan. Ternyata, muzik rock yang dihidangkan oleh bakat-bakat tempatan ini menjadi permintaan paling tinggi di corong stesen ERA fm.

JoHaRockStar merupakan sebuah program realiti berbentuk nyanyian anjuran ERA fm yang mencungkil bakat nyanyian rock dikalangan peminat muzik tanahair.

Menurut Pengurus Kandungan Kanan ERA fm, Nazri Noran,

“Kami cukup berbangga kerana dapat bekerjasaman dengan pihak Digi bagi menjayakan program sebegini. Memandangkan permintaan terhadap muzik rock menjadi fenomena di Malaysia, ERA fm buat pertama kalinya berganding bahu dengan lima (5) kumpulan rock popular tanahair bagi meneruskan misi pencarian seorang Penyanyi Rock Malaysia yang baharu menerusi pencarian JoHaRockStar! Antara kumpulan-kumpulan yang bakal terbabit untuk mencari juara JoHaRockStar adalah Hyper Act, Estranged, Projector Band, Kristal dan Khalifah. Peyertaan terbuka kepada semua warga Malaysia dan Singapore berumur 18 hingga 35 tahun dan mestilah menghantarkan video nyanyian mereka menyanyikan apa jua jenis lagu dalam genre rock”

Peminat yang ingin menyertai JoHaRockStar rata-ratanya telah pun memilih dan menghantarkan rakaman video nyanyian rock di Instagram dengan menggunakan kata kunci (hashtag) #Joharockstar dan #jomlive. Sehingga kini hampir Kumpulan rock (Brader Rock) akan dibawa masuk sebagai mentor dan mereka masing-masing akan memilih 3 orang ahli untuk pasukan mereka daripada senarai penyertaan yang terpilih.

Hanya seorang peserta bagi setiap kumpulan akan dipilih untuk membuat persembahan di peringkat akhir.Pada konsert akhir, persembahan akan diadili oleh juri professional, dan kita akan memilih seorang yang terbaik sebagai pemenang. Lagu yang menang akan dimainkan di ERA dan di bakal dipromosikan.Pemenang juga akan mendapat peluang untuk menjadi pelajar AF 2016 dan akan memulakan langkah sebagai pelajar AF 2016.

The Bestnya Bersama “A” Music Festival

The ‘Bestnya Bersama’ campaign includes the much anticipated Bestnya Bersama “A” Music Festival which will see acts from the GALAXY A Series’ A Team comprising of top notch home grown talents who will be performing an exclusive song set for the first time on the 14^th of March. In line with the theme of celebrating togetherness, the bands and singers will be collaborating and fusing the genres that they represent to ensure that it will be an extraordinary night.

The exciting line-up for the Bestnya Bersama “A” Music Festival includes internet sensation Najwa Latif, beatboxer Shawn Lee, pop princess Ke Qing, rock indie band Paperplane Pursuit, jazzy soul singer Liyana Fizi and dynamic rock band An Honest Mistake with special appearances by popular singer-cum-actor Izzue Islam and social influencer Venice Min.

Promising to be a night that will be talked about for weeks to come, in addition to the music line-up mentioned above, there will also be special guest singers performing that night namely Juztin Lan, Forteen, Hyper Act and Faizal Tahir. It is not a night to be missed.
