Today OPPO internally conducted comparative charging tests of the OPPO N3, iPhone 6+,Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6. The information below provides a brief analysis of the results in regards to fast charging technology. Data may be subject to change dependent on different devices of the same models.

Type 1 – Screen-on mode:

When all devices have their screen-on while charging, the OPPO N3 is definitely the fastest among all the four devices.

Note:

In the screen-on mode, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is not fast charged, while the OPPO N3 is under Flash Charge mode and almost 3 times faster than the Galaxy S6.

Type 2 – Screen-off mode:

When all devices have their screen-off while charging, the OPPO N3 remains the fastest among all other devices throughout the first 60 minutes.

Under OPPO VOOC Flash Charge, the charging speed will decrease after 60 minutes:

To prevent any accidental damage to the battery, OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge utilizes a micro-programmed control unit within the adaptor which controls the voltage throughout the charging process. OPPO implanted an MCU smart chip inside the adaptor, which allows for a charging process called, ‘voltage opened loop multi-step constant current charging’.
