About Hideto Takarai – HYDE:
Hyde was the guitarist in another band when he was “recruited” by Tetsuya in 1991 to form the band L’Arc~en~Ciel. Since then, Hyde became the main lyricist of the band, although he also composes music for the band, and for his solo work. In his solo work, Hyde started with singles such as “evergreen”, “angel’s tale” and “shallow sleep” in 2001, and then he released his first solo album “roentgen”. This album was released with lyrics in Japanese and another album with lyrics in English. After that, Hyde released “666”, an album with more rock sounds rather than the mellow ones on “roentgen”. In 2005 he re-initiated his solo career with the album “faith” and a tour that went even to the U.S. In 2008, Hyde in his solo work from L’Arc~en~Ciel, formed the band “VAMPS” with K.A.Z., releasing a collection of singles and two albums to this date, the band also went on tour in 6 countries, including for the first time a Latin American Country.
Hyde has solo projects, as well as his own record label under Sony Japan called Haunted Records.

In the co-main event of the evening, former world title challenger Ev “E.T.” Ting turned in an outstanding performance by routing Costa Rican martial artist Ariel Sexton, solidifying his position once again as a top contender in ONE Championship’s stacked lightweight division. Opening up the three-round contest by taking the action right to Sexton, Ting connected on a series of fast and powerful strikes, pushing his opponent back up against the cage. In the second round, Ting continued to blast Sexton with serious firepower, featuring his best striking combinations. Sexton tried to change the complexion of the bout in the third round, fishing for a finish with a flying knee and a submission attempt. Ting did just enough to pull away slightly in the third after a gruelling match, and came out victorious via split decision.
Local martial arts superstar Phoe “Bushido” Thaw turned in a spectacular performance, stopping Cambodian opponent Sor Sey with an emphatic push kick to the face in the very first round. Thaw, a lethwei practitioner, traded explosive strikes with Sor, a khun khmer specialist, right at the center of the cage. When a left hand staggered Sor along the fence, Thaw capitalized on the opening and abruptly ended matters with his next kick. The official finish came at 1:53 minutes of round one, sending the packed Yangon crowd at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium into a frenzy.

In a much-awaited encounter of ONE Championship’s highly-skilled knockout artists, Timofey Nastyukhin emerged triumphant, claiming a unanimous decision victory over Singaporean Muay Thai champion Amir Khan. Nastyukhin exhibited stellar form from the get-go, bombarding Khan with strong overhand rights while looking for the opening to deliver his lethal left hook. Leaning on his heavy hands to overwhelm Khan’s precision striking, Nastykuhin gallantly pushed forward as he threatened to end matters with a flying knee and stifled his opponent with harrowing punches. Nastyukhin punctuated the marquee match-up by outstriking Khan in the third frame, earning an undivided nod from all three judges at cageside.
The highly-anticipated bantamweight contest between Japan’s Daichi Takenaka and South Korea’s Dae Hwan Kim ended in a disqualification. After Takenaka took Kim’s back in a standing body triangle, securing a rear naked choke, Kim reacted by spiking Takenaka on his head, which is a prohibited maneuver. The match resulted in a victory for Takenaka, who wins by disqualification.

In an intense striking showcase, Myanmar’s Ye Thway Ne and Saw Min Min, two former lethwei practitioners, battled each other in a tremendous three-round war to the delight of a raucous crowd enjoying all the action. The two traded their best offense at the center of the ONE Championship cage for 15 minutes in one of the most exciting striking battles of the evening. In the end, it was two-time Gold Belt Champion Ye Thway Ne who scored the hard-earned victory, winning by split decision by keeping Saw Min Min on the defensive for the majority of the contest.
Chinese martial arts ace Li Kai Wen placed himself back on the winning track in emphatic fashion, submitting promotional newcomer Roel Rosauro of the Philippines in just 43 seconds. In an impressive display of ferociousness, Li tagged Rosauro repeatedly with thudding strikes, which eventually sent Rosauro crashing to the canvas. As Rosauro struggled to return to his feet, Li quickly secured dominant top position to wrench his Filipino foe’s neck with a guillotine choke, snaring his first submission victory inside the ONE Championship cage.

Indonesian wushu champion Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol impressed the crowd with a modified armbar submission of Krisna Limbaga in a female atomweight contest. After taking Limbaga down to the ground and keeping her opponent ineffective on the mat, Lumban Gaol used her legs to execute a straight armbar that forced the tap with less than a minute to go in the first round.
Kicking off ONE: QUEST FOR GOLD were female atomweights from Myanmar. Former two-time Myanmar National Boxing Champion Bozhena Antoniyar made quick work of opponent Shwe Sin in a great performance to start her ONE Championship career. At the opening bell, Antoniyar wasted no time in bringing Sin down to the mat swiftly and finished things off with ground-and-pound to score the fastest knockout in ONE women’s atomweight history.

Fans of Korean pop music will be flocking to the Autism Rocks Arena on 6 April, as the biggest K-Pop concert comes to Dubai for the first time. SM Town is the name given to the music artists signed to the S.M. Entertainment record label, and they started their first world tour in 2008, visiting cities such as New York, Paris and Tokyo. This year they are stopping off in Dubai as part of their sixth world tour.
On the line-up are 10 of the biggest South Korean bands and singers, including EXO, who earlier this year became the first K-Pop band to have a song played at the Dubai Fountain. Also performing at the four-hour concert will be BoA, Red Velvet, Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior, Shinee, Girls’ Generation, TRAX, and Henry.

Kumpulan pop rock ternama Amerika Syarikat OneRepublic akan kembali beraksi di Malaysia pada 25 April (Rabu, 8 malam) ini di Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. Konsert OneRepublic Live in Kuala Lumpur 2018 anjuran WGW Entertainment merupakan sebahagian daripada rangka konsert bergerak mereka di Asia pada tahun ini. Selain itu, konsert ini juga bertujuan untuk mempromosi album keempat mereka yang berjudul Oh My My. The Hilton ISEA F&B Masters is an internal competition open to all employees within Hilton properties across South East Asia and India. The 2017/2018 competition, which kicked off in July 2017, saw more than 800 participants from close to 40 Hilton properties across 10 countries including Myanmar and Vietnam competing in five disciplines – Culinary, Pastry, Barista, Sommelier and Bar.
Held for the fourth year running, the competition was incepted to identify, develop and celebrate top food and beverage talent across the Hilton portfolio in the region while giving them the opportunity to develop skills, hone their creativity, and gain real-world experience.
At the Hilton ISEA F&B Masters 2016/2017, over 1,600 new food, cocktail and coffee recipes were created by the contestants in South East Asia & India, and some of these creations have even been featured in the hotels’ menus as well as during promotions.
Karnival Belia Get2Gether @ Tangkak adalah kesinambungan daripada program sama yang telah di adakan di daerah pontian sebelum ini. Karnival yang berkonsepkan pendidikan dan hiburan ini bukan sahaja mensasarkan golongan remaja mahupun belia tetapi ianya bertujuan memberi pendedahan kepada penduduk serta masyarakat setempat mengenai pelbagai peluang yang boleh di kecapi ketika karnival ini berlangsung.
Karnival yang akan berlangsung pada 16 hingga 25 Februari di Dataran Ledang, Tangkak ini turut di sertai oleh pelbagai agensi kerajaan dan juga swasta. Pengunjung juga boleh menyertai pelbagai pertandingan yang di jalankan semasa karnival berlangsung antaranya adalah Battle Of Buskers, Pertandingan mewarna dan melukis, Fun ride, kempen derma darah dan sebagainya.
Selain itu pengunjung juga bakal di terapkan dengan nilai-nilai estetika melalui forum agama yang akan di adakan pada 22 Februari di mana Ustaz Abdullah Khairi telah dijemput untuk mengisi program ini. Persembahan daripada artis-artis tempatan pastinya akan menyemarakkan lagi karnival Belia Get2Gether ini. Antara artis yang terlibat adalah Aiman Tino, Khai Bahar, Emma,Zarith Sofea, Dinamik, Samudera, Ukays, I Band dan Abam Bocey dan sebagainya.
Antara objektif lain program ini adalah memberi pendedahan kepada usahawan belia mengenal pasti peluang pemasaran yang berkesan, program itu juga merupakan salah satu usaha untuk memperluaskan lagi perniagaan golongan berkenaan. Ia juga bertujuan untuk mempromosikan produk keluaran usahawan belia di samping mewujudkan jaringan perniagaan antara mereka.
Sejarah kewujudan kumpulan rock di Malaysia bermula secara meluas pada awal tahun 1980-an menerusi beberapa siri pertandingan yang di anjurkan. Bermula dari detik itu maka lahirlah beberapa siri pertandingan yang berjaya mencipta puluhan kumpulan yang bernuansakan rock sebagai platform malah terus dikenali sehingga kini. Juara-Juara Rock, Festival Rock dan Battle Of The Bands 1 & 2 antara beberapa siri pertandingan yang cukup dikenali.
Tidak hanya sekadar menyertai pertandingan, kumpulan yang dinobatkan sebagai pemenang juga diberi peluang untuk merakamkan beberapa buah lagu di dalam sebuah album kompilasi. Bermula dari situlah mereka kemudiannya akan merakamkan album studio.
Salah sebuah album kompilasi yang menjadi medan uji kumpulan-kumpulan tersebut ialah “Juara-Juara Rock” yang menampilkan MAY, Scandals, Burnmarks, Metalian, D’Febians yang berjaya menonjolkan pelbagai lagu-lagu rock berat seperti Peperangan, Roda Penghidupan, Bukan Untuk Selamanya (D’Febians), Kuasa, Kuasa II, Gadis Kota (Scandals), Kabus, Gerimis Rindu, Aku Dengan Caraku (Metalian), Pemuzik Muda, Derita Bangsa, Gadis Misteri (MAY) dan Makan Hati Ulam Jantung, Insaflah, Snooker (Burnmarks).
Manakala lagu slow seperti lagu Kembalilah Semula, Bayangan Hidup, Skestsa Sebuah Cinta (MAY), Secebis Rayuan, Penantian Sepi, Galeri Kasih (Burnmarks), Rindu, Musnahlah Sebuah Cinta, Penantian Yang Tak Pasti (Scandals), Cinta Pertama, Kehilangan, Kenangan Abadi (D’Febians) dan Tetap Di Sini, Segala Untukmu, Biarkan Aku Sendiri (Metalian).
Kini setelah lebih 3 dekad album kompilasi “Juara Juara Rock” yang menghimpunkan nama-nama besar dalam industri hiburan tempatan khususnya rock malahan lagu-lagunya sentiasa malar segar bakal di satukan di sebuah pentas bagi menghiburkan peminat-peminat tegar rock.
Konsert mini 3 Dekad Juara Juara Rock bakal di adakan di The House G-Tower pada 8 April depan. Konsert ini merupakan konsert yang cukup eksklusif kerana buat pertama kali ianya akan menghimpunkan semula kesemua anggota kumpulan terbabit selain memberi pengalaman sebenar peminat yang baru hendak mengenali genre rock.

Dua Lipa fans can rejoice as the singer will be returning to Kuala Lumpur this 3 May 2018 for her very first solo show at KL Live as part of her headlining ‘The Self-Titled Tour’. Doors will open at 7.30pm.
Since bursting onto the music scene, Dua Lipa has taken it by storm. In 2017, her hit song, “New Rules” became the first song in nearly two years by a female solo artist to reach top of the charts in the UK. Most recently, she has also received five 2018 Brit Award nominations, making her the first female artist to do so. Last month, Dua Lipa dropped her latest single, “IDGAF” and fans can look forward to seeing this and her other hits like “Scared to Be Lonely” and “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” live.
