The full artists line-up will feature some of the world’s biggest global acts. Shipsomnia’s heavy- weight headliners are Armand Van Helden [US], house legend and BBC Radio 1 host Pete Tong [UK] and Zed’s Dead [Canada].

The star-studded roster also includes Claptone [Germany], James Zabiela [UK], DJ Jazzy Jeff [US], DJ Marky [Brazil], Mat Zo [UK], Stanton Warriors [UK], Treasure Fingers [US], Vin- tage Culture [Brazil], Yolanda Be Cool [Australia], Kastle [US], Amtrac [US] and Justin Jay [US]. These tasteful music selectors cover a diverse genre in electronic music from House, Drum+Bass, Electro House, Hip-Hop, Techno, Breaks, and more.

They will be joined by more than 20 of their Asian and Australian counterparts from the top clubs and party promoters/labels in Asia and Australia, who would bring their unique sound to the festival-cruise – from nightclubs kyo [Singapore], Fly [Hong Kong], M2 [Shanghai], VH [Bali] and Blowfish [Jakarta] – which were part of Shipsomnia’s multi-city Asian club tour in May and June this year – alongside underground party promoters/labels Kolour [Bangkok], Irie Sundays [Manila], Sub Sonic [Sydney] and Habitat (Perth).

In total, Shipsomnia will feature more than 40 DJs, plus contortionists and aerialists from Mid-Air Circus Arts, on its power-packed showcase.

THE BEACH FESTIVAL WITH A CAUSE

Shipsomnia’s stop in Phuket will be an exclusive one for Shipsomniacs where the beautiful private island Banana Beach, Koh Hey [Coral Island] will be closed especially for the festi- val-cruise. The beach festival will be held at Coral Island or Koh Hey, as it is known to locals, on the white sand, picturesque Banana Beach.

Aptly named the S.O.S. Beach Festival [Save Our Seas], the festival aims to raise awareness on various environmental issues in an artistic and fun way. Participants will accomplish this by building their art installations and costumes from the trash collected from Phuket’s beaches on September 19, which is the International Coastal Cleanup Day. They will work with local schools, the Rotary Club and other volunteers to clean up the beaches of Phuket. They will then wash all the trash, and work with local artist, Pui Ngowsiri, the founder of Love Art Studio and an art village in Phuket, to create art installations.

S.O.S beach festival also has a “Take only pictures, leave only footprints” philosophy. Some of the event proceeds will go to a non-profit, ocean conservation organization in Phuket.

Limited tickets to Shipsomnia are still available. In just 12 days after its release in late May, 70 per cent of tickets were snapped up. Revellers hail from more than 35 countries.

‘Oh My English: Oh My Goat – Come Baaack!! | Ekoran kejayaan siri komedi pendidikan Oh My English! (OME), Astro dengan bangganya mempersembahkan sebuah lagi telefilem istimewa untuk peminat setia OME berjudul ‘Oh My English: Oh My Goat – Come Baaack!!. Telefilem ini akan ditayangkan secara eksklusif pada 5 September 2015, jam 9 malam, secara serentak di 3 saluran iaitu Astro TVIQ (Saluran 610), Astro Prima (Saluran 105) dan juga dalam siaran definisi tinggi di Astro Maya HD (Saluran 135).

Oh My English: Oh My Goat – Come Baaack!! merupakan telefilem keempat siri Oh My English! selepas Oh My Ganu!, Oh My English – Hello America dan Oh My English: Villa Isabellaaa! Filem yang diarahkan oleh Shamyl Othman dan Umi Omar ini mengisahkan pengembaraan Mr Henry Middleton yang menawarkan diri untuk mengajar di sebuah kampung terpencil di Malaysia bernama Kampung Dalam Ayer. Di sana, dia bertemu ‘teman’ baharu yang cukup istimewa iaitu seekor kambing yang sudah lama menjadi penghuni tetap Kampung Dalam Ayer, (suara latar kambing dihidupkan oleh Jihan Muse; pemenang Anugerah Artis Komedi Wanita Terbaik, Anugerah Lawak Warna 2015).

Biarpun pada peringkat awal peminat filem ini mungkin sedikit suspens melihat Mr Henry Middleton menangani cabaran ketika berhadapan dengan kemudahan asas yang cukup terhad dan ancaman haiwan berbisa, keupayaannya menyesuaikan diri dengan keadaan sekeliling yang baharu pasti akan menghiburkan mereka. Abam Bochey (pemenang Anugerah Artis Komedi Lelaki Popular, Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 2014) akan menampilkan komedi dan jenaka bersahaja beliau menerusi karakternya sebagai Mail, ‘penghulu’ Kampung Dalam Ayer. Sementara itu di Ayer Dalam, perhubungan Encik Ariff (Nazrief Nazri) dan Cikgu Ayu (Tiz Zaqyah) semakin intim. Dalam usaha menghentikan perhubungan tersebut daripada terus mekar, bekas pelajar Mr.Henry Middleton membuat keputusan mengejut untuk melawat beliau dan membawanya kembali ke Ayer Dalam. Kedatangan Jojie (Nadiya Nisaa), Zack (Juzzthin), Taylor Marie Smith (Juliana Evans) dan See Yew Soon (Roax Tan) ke Kampung Dalam Ayer meletakkan Mr Henry Middleton di dalam dilema sama ada untuk terus berbakti di Kampung Dalam Ayer ataupun kembali ke SMK Ayer Dalam. Selain daripada pelakon asal siri Oh My English, Jasmin Hamid juga akan membuat kemunculan istimewa dalam telefilem ini. GILLETTE Mempamerkan Inovasi Dengan PIANO GILLETTE FLEXBALL | Untuk mempamerkan kebolehan Gillette Fusion ProGlide dengan Teknologi FlexBall™ yang baru, pemuzik terkenal Dennis Lau mempersembahkan sebuah lagu gubahannya sendiri yang bertajuk ‘The Journey’, dengan menggunakan piano yang dikuasakan dengan lebih 50 pencukur Gillette FlexBall™ dan dihasilkan untuk mendemonstrasikan pergerakan ke kiri dan kanan serta ketepatan inovasi terkini Gillette yang hebat ini. Pergerakan unik Gillette FlexBall™ yang baru ini dilaras untuk mencapai kesempurnaan dan para penonton di dataran pusat membeli-belah 1 Utama sangat teruja apabila persembahan ini mencapai kemuncaknya.

Gillette Fusion ProGlide dengan Teknologi FlexBall™ yang baru adalah yang pertama seumpamanya yang memutar bilah pencukur ke kiri dan ke kanan – memberikan julat pergerakan yang baru ketika mencukur untuk tindak balas yang lebih baik kepada kontur wajah.
