This weekend, catch Chris Rock making his first appearance hosting Saturday Night Live (SNL) since 1996 in the fifth episode of the show’s landmark 40^th season. Joining Chris is musical guest, Prince, who is making his third appearance on the show.

The iconic comedian, who is also a former SNL cast member, sets the stage alight with his unmistakable edgy standup on the show’s customary monologue. He also reprises one of his best known sketches on the show, “The Dark Side with Nat X”.

Speaking of iconic – in celebration of the 30^th anniversary of his album and film Purple Rain, Prince appeared with supporting all-girl band, 3rdEyeGirl during the recording of the show to deliver an extraordinary eight-minute medley of his best loved tracks. This is an amazing treat for any rock ‘n’ roll fan, as Rolling Stone put it, “The last time he had eight uninterrupted minutes on national television, Prince was performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2007.”

The channel is also available on HyppTV Everywhere mobile app, making it accessible for Comedy Central HD viewers to watch, not just at home but on their portable smart devices, and PC as well. It also comes complimentary with a Video On Demand channel via Comedy Central HD On Demand (Channel 851).
