WWE ® and ASTRO extend long-standing partnership in Malaysia

WWE (NYSE: WWE) and Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (Astro), a Malaysian and ASEAN digital-first media and lifestyle company, will extend their partnership into its 17th year with a new agreement to continue airing WWE programming, including flagship programs Raw® and SmackDown®. Astro will also continue offering WWE Network as a premium channel, which includes all WWE special events such as WrestleMania®, SummerSlam®, Survivor Series® and Royal Rumble®.

ASTRO To Launch WWE® Network In MALAYSIA

Astro, the leading Malaysian pay-television service, and WWE® (NYSE: WWE) today announced the launch of WWE Network in time for WWE BattlegroundTM on July 20, at 8am when Brock LesnarTM competes against Seth RollinsTM for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Network will be available on Astro (SD Channel 820; HD Channel 840), beginning today, July 15, for RM10.60* per month for Astro Sports Pack Subscribers and RM15.90* per month for Astro Non-Sports Pack Subscribers, and includes all 12 WWE pay-per-view events LIVE at no additional charge. Subscribers will have access to 24/7 programming featuring groundbreaking original series, reality shows, documentaries, classic matches, exclusive coverage of special events and 25 hours of video-on-demand content every month, including past WWE pay-per-view events. The agreement expands WWE and Astro’s existing partnership to air WWE’s flagship programming, Monday Night Raw®, SmackDown®, Main EventTM, NXTTM, and SuperstarsTM throughout the region.

WWE (NYSE:WWE) dan Astro berbesar hati mengumumkan hari ini bahawa WWE LIVE™ akan kembali ke Malaysia buat julung kalinya sejak 2002, dengan dua persembahan dijadualkan pada Oktober 2014. Dua persembahan ini akan dilangsungkan di Stadium Putra Stadium di Kuala Lumpur pada Jumaat, 10 Oktober dan Sabtu, 11 Oktober 11. Tiket akan mulai dijual Sabtu, 31 Mei 2014 pada 10:00 pagi.

Peminat akan dapat menyaksikan Superstars WWE secara langsung, termasuk John Cena®, Bray Wyatt™ dan Wyatt Family™, The Shield™, Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett™ dan ramai lagi.*
