Malaysia’s upcoming integrated tourist destination, Desaru Coast is bound to host a legendary musical night like other. Scheduled to take place at the Desaru Coast conference Centre on 6 July, ‘A Night with Legends’ will feature four of the nation’s evergreen favourites; Dato Jamal Abdillah, Dato’ Khadijah Ibrahim, Datuk Ramli Sarlp and Francissca Peters.

For the first time in Malaysia, these four legends are set to take center stage together by performing their popular hits with music backed up by Belle Fatah and his team of eight gifted musicians. From rock, ballads to traditional Malay classics, audiences are in for a treat as they unwind and dine toflavourful dishes prepared by newly-opened The Westin Desaru Coast Resort’s resident chefs.

“A Night with Legends concert falls under the entertainment pillar of “Desaru Coast Live Series”, a curation of special events curated exclusively for Desaru Coast. Our aim is to nurture Desaru Coast as a hub for signature events, therefore, we have an array of upcoming curated events focusing on sports lifestyle and entertainment pillars. Making her comeback, Francissca Peters is ready to wow her fans with a live performance of her greatest hits, Sekadar Di Pinggiran and Aku Hanya Pendatang. A timeless and still sought-after vocalist, she has over 20 hit songs under her belt while previously bearing “Best Female Vocal” for five years in a row. “I am touched to be given the opportunity by Desaru Coast it is an honour to not only be able to perform again, but to also share the stage with my fellow contemporaries as well,” she said.

Fran’s duet partner in Kehebatan Cinta, Jamal Abdillah, will also be sharing the limelight. “We are still in the midst of finalizing the theme and setlist, however, I’m pretty sure fans will be in for a good a show” he said,

Ramli Sarip is known for being Malaysia’s very own, ’Papa Rock’. After gaining popularity in the ‘703 5 band, Sweet Charity, Ramli is known to experiment with different music genres. “Each of my songs have their own backstory.I use music to share my experience and feelings through lyrics and musical instruments,” he said.

Joining him on stage will be his long-time friend, Khadijah Ibrahim, one of Malaysia’s leading singers of their generation. Multiple versions of her duet with Ramli, Doa Buat Kekasih has been recorded numerous times in the last 30 years, becoming one of the nation’s power ballads in the ‘803 era. Apart from the duet, fans can also look forward as she performs her two hits Ku Gembira Disampingku and Ku Pendam Sebuah Duka.

The concert also aims to raise funds and awareness for the Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation. Tickets sold per tables, priced between RM 8,000 to RM 20,000 according to their tiers. 12 penyanyi tempatan yang bakal menjayakan Gegar Vaganza musim terbaharu terdiri daripada enam peserta lelaki iaitu Ameng Spring, G-Mie Screen, Razis Ismail, Rem, Shidi Data dan Zarul Umbrella. Manakala enam peserta wanita pula adalah Azharina, Elly Mazlein, Intan Sarafina, Nora, Siti Sarah dan Zur Eda.

Pengarah muzik terkenal Dato’ Haji Ramli MS dan penyanyi tersohor Dato’ Khadijah Ibrahim masih lagi dikekalkan sebagai juri tetap yang akan dipertanggungjawabkan untuk menilai persembahan para peserta berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Manakala seorang lagi juri akan diundang khas sebagai juri jemputan secara bergilir-gillir pada setiap minggu.

Selain itu, Gegar Vaganza juga sekali lagi memberi kepercayaan kepada pasangan pengacara, pelakon dan pelawak popular iaitu Nabil Ahmad dan Jihan Muse untuk mengemudikan program ini sebagai pengacara bagi tiga musim berturut-turut.

Siaran langsung konsert mingguan Gegar Vaganza Musim Ketiga bakal bersiaran dari Dewan Auditorium, Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam selama lapan minggu pada setiap hari Ahad, jam 9.00 malam bermula 16 Oktober 2016 secara eksklusif menerusi saluran Astro Ria (104) dan siaran serentak di Ria HD (123).

Sama seperti musim sudah, nasib para peserta akan diadili sepenuhnya berdasarkan sistem pemarkahan 100% oleh pihak juri yang telah dipertanggungjawabkan untuk menilai persembahan para peserta berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Peserta yang mendapat markah paling rendah pada setiap minggu akan disingkirkan.

Juara Gegar Vaganza Musim Ketiga bakal membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai berjumlah RM100,000 beserta trofi sumbangan Astro serta hadiah sampingan lain yang akan diumumkan kemudian. Naib juara pula bakal memenangi wang tunai RM50,000 dan trofi. Manakala pemenang tempat ketiga, keempat, kelima dan keenam pula masing-masing akan memenangi wang tunai RM30,000, RM15,000, RM10,000 dan RM5,000 beserta trofi dan hadiah sampingan setiap seorang.

Selain itu, Gegar Vaganza  Musim Ketiga juga sangat berbesar hati untuk mengalu-alukan kedatangan Pamoga Vida Beauty Qu Puteh selaku Penaja Platinum dengan kerjasama Digi dan KFC sebagai Penaja Bersama.
