Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited (HKEx stock code: 1929), the largest jeweller listed in Hong Kong by market capitalization with 87 years’ heritage, recently hosted a Grand Opening event for its outlet in Gurney Paragon Mall. With this outlet, the group aims to provide Penang consumers with more modern and stylish jewellery choices.
The Grand Opening of the branch was officiated by a number of important guests from both Chow Tai Fook and Hunza Group, including Mr. Peter Suen – Executive Director of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group., and Dato Seri Khor Teng Tong – Founder and Advisor of Hunza Group. When it was counted to 3, the guests filled up a Chow Tai Fook stand with golden sands to symbolize the efforts to be put by Chow Tai Fook to add sparkles to the Penang jewellery market.
To add glam to the event, the only Former International Beauty Queen of Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant, Ms. Carrie Lee Sze Kei, led the finalists of the Beauty pageant catwalk show with 21 stunning jewellery sets of Chow Tai Fook, which are specially selected and arranged from Hong Kong, to showcase the mesmerizing beauty of the rarest gemstones and precious materials, like diamonds, sapphires, rubies, jadeites and tourmalines which were all impeccably cut, polished and set to reveal the most dazzling radiance and entice the audiences with their natural elegance and scintillating charm.
To further add warmth to the evening, there will be adoption of Miss Elegant the night added Miss Popularity voted by crowd of Chow Tai Fook. Judges include Ms. Carrie and Ms. Eugenee Ooi, who are former queens of the pageant. After the jewellery catwalk presentation, Mr. Peter Suan and Ms. Carrie Lee was crowned Ms. Elegant, for her elegant catwalk to unveil the utmost sparkles and beauty of the Chow Tai Fook jewellery set she showcased. While Miss Elegant is Estherlita Corraima (Indonesia) and Miss Catherine Soo from Malaysia, well said by the title, was elected by over 100 guests of the event to be Ms. Popularity of the pageant this year.
