Jumlah penghibur di Festival Rockaway kedua yang akan berlangsung pada 19 Nov di Extreme Park, Bukit Jalil semakin bertambah. Penganjur festival, The Livescape Group, hari ini mengumumkan yang kumpulan Deja Voodoo Spells dengan menampilkan Bumblefoot (bekas anggota Guns N’ Roses) dan The 11-Piece Book of Spells Orchestra, Pop Shuvit menampilkan Dave Kennedy (bekas anggota Angels & Airwaves), Kyoto Protocol menampilkan Man Bai dan kumpulan indie Singapura, Force Vomit turut bakal menghiburkan para peminat yang hadir di festival yang akan diadakan ini.

The 2016 MTV EMAs are the first-ever awards show to launch a Facebook Messenger interactive bot to give fans an exclusive way to engage with the live show.

This year, fans can also watch show content live wherever they want. In addition to catching the EMAs on TV, the audience can follow along live across all devices for custom experiences offered from our social MTVEMA hosts, Hugo Gloss (for Instagram) and Jack & Jack (for Snapchat). Additional EMA content will also be updated live within a Snapchat Live Story. EMA Facebook Messenger Bot

The 2016 MTV EMAs are the first-ever award show to launch a Facebook Messenger interactive bot to give fans an exclusive second-screen experience. During the live broadcast, fans at home can interact with the MTV EMA bot on Facebook Messenger, asking questions related to the show, interacting with Facebook Live backstage host Becca Dudley, and accessing live updated show GIFs powered by GIPHY. The technology is a collaboration between MTV, Viacom Velocity International, Viacom Labs, GIPHY and Conversable.

Social Correspondents, Custom Content and Additional Digital Integrations

The 2016 MTV EMAs will feature influencer red carpet correspondents, providing fans with new perspectives for following and immersing themselves in the show, wherever they are. Brazilian pop culture personality and co-host of MTV Brazil’s Ridículos (Ridiculousness) Hugo Gloss (Brazil, 13.7M followers collectively) will host the night’s @MTVEMA Instagram Story, focusing on pop culture coverage, while pop-rap duo Jack & Jack (USA, 26M+ followers collectively) is tapped to host on MTV EMA’s Snapchat account as the night’s music correspondents. Virtual Reality

The 2016 MTV EMAs will evolve its live virtual reality viewing experience of the main show, giving fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite music and celebrities in real time. By placing cameras in the main show, fans from around the world will be able to choose where to look, giving them a unique and individual interactive virtual reality experience. Accessed via the 2016 MTV EMA app and used in conjunction with an easy-to-use cardboard viewer, the real-time experience lets fans feel as though they are on stage with their favorite artists as they perform at the EMA. Fans without a viewer can still access a 360-degree viewing experience via the MTV EMA app.

MTV Bump

Fans will also get the opportunity to have their social video posts featured on air via MTV’s social-to-linear initiative, #MTVBump: All night-of social posts tagging #MTVBump and #MTVEMA will have the potential to be featured on air in as little as two hours.  #MTVBump connects the Internet to the network’s linear broadcast system, allowing social media videos on Instagram or Vines shared on Twitter with #MTVBump to be up on-air in as little as two hours. MTV collects the videos using a custom content management system (CMS) developed together with B-Reel Creative that allows MTV teams to curate the content, filtering for local relevance, pop culture topicality or number of fans, and then seamlessly scheduling it to be up on-air and across platforms.   1. Could you tell us a bit about Top Gear Korea S7?

Top Gear Korea is my most favourite automobile TV program among the others and I am grateful to the producers who offered me the opportunity to take part in this program.

  1. Why must we watch Top Gear Korea S7? What is interesting in Top Gear Korea S7 compared to the previous seasons? How do you work with the other co-hosts?

There are always reckless but interesting challenges throughout the program, and I think it’s good to have 4 MCs in total, which is something interesting. Our personalities and strengths are all different and the synergy among us works well.

  1. What is biggest challenge for you on Top Gear Korea S7 and why?

I like automobiles and so I am happy that I can do what I enjoy in the program. I always talk while driving and I felt a bit strange about it in the beginning. But once I started, I got used to it.

  1. What is the most unforgettable experience in Top Gear Korea S7 and why?

I began to like automobiles because of drifting. My most unforgettable moment throughout the program was when I met the champion in drifting in Gunma Prefecture in Japan. The driver’s seat is on the right in Japan and so it’s a bit difficult for me in the beginning. I learnt and enjoyed a lot during the shooting.

  1. Which car would you choose in this season and why?

Design, interior, color, sound are all the factors that have to be considered when choosing a car. I like cars which are fun to drive. Everyone has a different standard on what makes their dream car. I don’t particularly fancy a “super car” but rather a car that is fun to drive. The most important thing for me is the balance between the performance of the automobile and the driving experience.

  1. Who are the celebrity guests that you like best in this season and why?

I would say (singer) John Park. I heard that he drives only once or twice a year but he had an outstanding lap time. He really surprised me.

Rockaway Malaysia MotoGP Weekend Will Now Be Merged Into A One-Day Affair To Be Held On October 29

The Livescape Group today announced the merger of both the Rockaway Malaysia MotoGP Weekend shows to a one day explosive rock festival on October 29 at B Hillstand, Sepang International Circuit. The festival, which was originally meant to be a two-day affair, will now see Scorpions, Wolfmother, The Darkness, Wings, and Muzza’s Mayhem share the stage. The venue remains unchanged.

Organisers said the decision to merge both show was due to scheduling conflicts. 

“We have decided to merge the two-day festival to just a one-day event due to a scheduling and production conflict with one of the headlining acts. However, this may well be a blessing in disguise as our fans ultimately benefit from this. With the merger of both shows, single-day ticket holders will now also be able to catch more international acts on a single billing”, Rahul Kukreja, Director of Live Events of The Livescape Group said.

Tickets purchased for both single-day passes either for Day 1 (Oct 29) or Day 2 (Oct 30) are still valid and will be granted entry into the merged show. Refunds however will be provided to those who purchased single-day Day 2 passes (Oct 30) and cannot make it to the festival on Oct 29. Armin Only Embrace is a solo set by Armin van Buuren with live performances of internationally acclaimed artists as Mr. Probz, Kensington, Eric Vloeimans, Cimo Fränkel, Betsie Larkin, Angel Taylor and BullySongs. MALAYSIA INDIAN FASHION FESTIVAL 2016 (MIFF 2016)

The event is called MIFF 2016 and is also known as the MALAYSIA INDIAN FASHION FESTIVAL 2016 organized by an established Malaysian event agency, Fusion Media Productions Sdn. Bhd. MIFF 2016 is the brainchild of Kishvin, the CEO of Fusion Media and together with a group of influential Malaysian people including celebrities, supermodels, well­‐known designers and event producers who share one thing in common­‐ a desire to create a platform that will showcase the many God given talents that exist in our country, and to show how unique Malaysian fashion truly is.If there is one word that summarizes what MIFF 2016 is all about, it would be ‘fusion’. We want to show a fusion of cultures; a fusion of styles; a fusion of high fashion and everyday fashion; and also a fusion of the modern and the traditional. In line with this, our theme for MIFF 2016 is “Trendy­‐tional”, and our tagline is “Where real fashion meets true passion”.

Even though the name might suggest otherwise, Malaysia Indian Fashion Festival is not only about Indian designers. Instead, it is open to any designer who has injected an element of Indian­‐style or Bollywood design, motifs and themes in their design(at least 10%) The reason for this is that we would like MIFF 2016 to show that the cultures of Malaysia are not separate from one another. Malaysia is in fact a diverse country, and our different races and cultures influence each other to create an amazing mash­‐up of styles and designs. This is what makes us unique as a country and this is what we would like to share with the world.

MIFF 2016 will showcase a total of 16 designers in 2 categories.The first being Trendsetter ­‐Emerging which features upcoming designers. The Emerging segment will kick start at 3.30pm with a special handloom showcase which comprises of normal everyday people instead of models . It will be interesting to find outwhat makes handloom so special and how it was the beginning. The main highlight will be the Premier – Elite category which will showcase 9 designers from Malaysia, Singapore, India and Iran. It is the grand gala night that will take place from 7.30p.m onwards. Some of the names we have lined up are Sarvenaz (Iran), Vineetha Goel (India),J Calista (Singapore),Hari Haran, Rasta Rashid, Harsimrit , Joshua Benedict,Mora Laree, Zeel Bridal, SS Couture from Malaysia and many others.

ASTRO WARNA Perkenal HOS, JURI & Peserta LAWAK SOLO

Setelah berjaya melepasi sesi uji bakat yang telah diadakan di empat buah lokasi berbeza, sepuluh orang peserta telah dipilih bagi menyertai program komedi terbaharu Astro Warna iaitu ‘Lawak Solo’. Pasti membuatkan penonton tidak kering gusi, Lawak Solo yang dijadualkan bersiaran selama lapan minggu akan mula menemui penonton secara langsung dari Studio Finas, Kompleks Merdeka FINAS pada setiap hari Jumaat, bermula 21 Oktober 2016, jam 10.00 malam dan boleh ditonton secara eksklusif menerusi Astro Warna (Saluran 132) dan tayangan serentak di Mustika HD (Saluran 134).

Lawak Solo merupakan sebuah program realiti komedi baharu di mana pihak Astro Warna ingin mencari pelapis untuk memeriahkan lagi dunia komedi solo ataupun stand-up comedy yang kini dilihat semakin mendapat perhatian di kalangan peminat komedi tanah air. Para peserta juga akan dibimbing oleh barisan pelawak terkenal seperti Nabil Ahmad, Ebby Yus dan Douglas Lim. Mereka bertiga ini bakal bertindak sebagai penasihat komedi dan akan bersama para peserta mengasah kemahiran berlawak masing-masing menerusi sesi pembelajaran khas yang diadakan pada setiap minggu. Segala aktiviti dan pembelajaran para peserta ini akan disiarkan menerusi ‘Kapsul Lawak Solo’ setiap hari di saluran Astro Warna. Selain itu juga peserta akan diberikan beberapa cabaran bagi menguji tahap kemahiran dan kreativiti mereka dalam berkomedi di antaranya berjumpa dengan orang ramai di tempat-tempat awam dan mereka kemudiannya dikehendaki untuk membuat lawak secara spontan di khalayak ramai. Sorakan dan tepukan yang diberikan penonton secara tidak langsung mencerminkan tahap kebolehan setiap peserta dalam melontarkan sketsa dan komedi masing-masing.

Sepuluh orang peserta lelaki yang telah berjaya melayakkan diri mereka untuk menyertai program Lawak Solo kali ialah DANIAL; [Mohamad Danial Bin Mohd Zaini 23, Pulau Pinang], MAD SABAH; [Achmad Bin Rusli 28, Sabah], NIZAM; [Mohd Nornizam Bin Mohd Yusof 35, Selangor], AG HAFIZ; [Mohd Hafiz Bin Abdul Ghani 31, Perak], AARON; [Aaron Aw Teik Hong 31, Kuala Lumpur], WAN GEGAU; [Mohd Saffuan Bin Samsudin 29, Melaka], KC NAZARI; [Ahmad Fadli Bin Mohd Nazari 33, Seremban], DINN (Dengerous); [Nor Hisyabudin Bin Bahar 31, Kedah], FIKRY; [Ahmad Fikry Bin Ahmad Ibrahim 22, Kedah], RIDZUAN;  [Muhammad Ridzuan Bin Ahamad Hsbulah 22, Pahang]. Kesemua dari mereka bakal diadili dua juri tetap yang sememangnya punyai pengalaman luas dalam dunia komedi tempatan iaitu Dato’ AC Mizal dan juga Saiful Apek. Selain itu, seorang juri jemputan akan diundang setiap minggu bagi memeriahkan Lawak Solo.

Bakal menggalas tanggungjawab sebagai pengacara pentas Lawak Solo yang akan bersiaran selama lapan minggu bermula 21 Oktober ini, pelawak terkenal Johan telah diberi tanggungjawab tersebut. Selain itu juga Fad dari kumpulan Bocey juga akan turut memeriahkan program Lawak Solo ini selaku hos dibelakang tabir bersama dua lagi pelawak baru yang popular di laman sosial dengan video-video parody mereka iaitu Jamal dan Zukiee.

Setiap minggu peserta akan diadili dengan menggunakan khidmat penjurian profesional sebanyak 70 % selain undian penonton sebanyak 30% dalam menentukan peserta manakah yang bakal disingkirkan dan seterusnya mara bagi merebut gelaran juara Lawak Solo bagi musim pertama ini.

Juara yang bakal dinobatkan pada minggu terakhir kelak akan menerima ganjaran wang tunai berjumlah RM 80,000.00 berserta trofi manakala naib juara dan tempat ketiga pula akan menerima habuan sebanyak RM 40,000.00 dan RM 20,000.00 berserta trofi. Selain itu, wang saguhati sebanyak RM 10,000.00 juga turut menanti pemenang di tempat keempat. Saksikan episod pertama Lawak Solo yang akan bersiaran mulai 21 Oktober 2016, setiap Jumaat jam 10.00 malam hanya di saluran 132, Astro Warna dan saluran 134, Mustika HD.

DRAMA TARI PUTERI LINDUNGAN BULAN

Sebanyak tiga (3) program ‘The Malaysia Traditional Arts Showcase 2016’ anjuran Istana Budaya dengan kerjasama Pusat Pelancongan Malaysia (MatiC) diadakan secara percuma di MaTiC bermula 19 Ogos yang lalu. Objektif program ini bertujuan memperkenalkan seni budaya tradisional kepada para pelancong dalam dan luar negara di samping dapat menyumbangkan kepada industri pelancongan negara.

Istana Budaya sebagai sebuah agensi di bawah Kementerian pelancongan dan Kebudayaan Malaysia telah diberikan penghormatan untuk memerajui inisiatif tersebut. ‘The Malaysia Traditional Arts Showcase’ merupakan penganjuran kali pertama di bawah inisiatif Pelan Transformasi Kementerian Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan Malaysia.

Program yang telah dilaksanakan iaitu teater tradisional Melayu Makyong; Dewa Indera Indera Dewa (19 & 20 Ogos 2016) dan Orkestra Tradisional Malaysia (OTM); The Colours of Malaysia (2 & 3 September 2016) mendapat sambutan yang amat memberangsangkan daripada pelancong tempatan juga luar negara berdasarkan jumlah kehadiran penonton di MaTiC sepanjang pementasan.

Penyemarakan seni budaya tradisional diteruskan dengan drama tari bertajuk ‘Puteri Lindungan Bulan’ yang bakal dipentaskan pada 14 dan 15 Oktober 2016, juga di MaTiC. Drama tari yang dibintangi oleh artis tari Istana Budaya ini menampilkan pelbagai jenis tarian tradisional yang sering dipersembahkan di istana antaranya Tarian Asyik, Tarian Terinai, Tarian Layang Mas sambil diiringi alunan muzik tradisional secara langsung. Lokman Ghani yang merupakan pengarah drama tari ini dibantu oleh koreografer Istana Budaya iaitu Mohd Sharil Akla, Roszilawati Rahim, Sharifah Raha Syed Mustapha, Samsuraya Sulaiman dan Rudy De Luna.

Puteri Lindungan Bulan mengisahkan tentang Sultan Sulaiman Shah yang mempunyai dua puteri cantik jelita iaitu Puteri Mariam dan Puteri Zaleha yang berdarah putih. Berita kecantikan kedua-dua puteri ini tersebar ke serata tempat sehinggakan Sultan Iskandar Muda Mahkota Alam menghantar rombongan peminangan. Berlaku pelbagai peristiwa sehingga menyebabkan konflik peperangan serta kematian dan kesemua adegan ini dipaparkan melalui lenggok tari tradisional yang pasti memukau para penonton.

Pihak media diharapkan dapat menyokong usaha kesenian ini yang dilihat mempunyai potensi yang tinggi serta memberi impak positif terhadap industri pelancongan dan kebudayaan negara. Orang ramai dijemput hadir untuk sama-sama menyaksikan pementasan drama tari ini secara percuma.
