The ticketing details for the ‘Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia’ have been confirmed by the organizer, ONE HD.The tickets for ‘Race Start Season 2 in Malaysia’ are priced at RM729 (VIP), RM499 (CAT 1), RM429 (CAT 2), RM299 (CAT 3) and RM199 (CAT 4). Tickets are available for sale at TicketCharge (www.ticketcharge.com / 03-9222 8111) from 29 August 2014, Friday at 10am. Fans from across all ticket categories will stand a chance to get on stage to interact with the stars.

All VIP (RM729) ticket holders will receive an exclusive autograph pass to meet the stars up close and personal and get an autograph from one of the 4 Running man members participating in this year`s fan meeting. More details on the autograph session will be made available nearer to the date of event.

MODA Celebrates Innovation through High Fashion, Glamour and Sophistication

In conjunon with its 24th year anniversary last Friday, the Malaysian Official Designer’s Association (MODA) celebrated innovation with Samsung Malaysia Electronics for the third year in a row. Together, both brands sought to offer a platform to young designers and distinguished local designers who will showcase their creations.

This year, MODA introduced 10 up-and-coming young designers, alongside 35 designers who are no strangers to the fashion industry in Malaysia. They had the pleasure to flaunt their designs on a gold runway, which is 175 feet in length. Samsung GALAXY S5 ambassadors, Awal Ashaari and Liyana Jasmay, made special appearances at the fashion showcase in appreciation of the local fashion industry.

“This is yet another astonishing year for us, as we have in total 45 talented designers who will join forces to do something meaningful for the fashion and beauty industry. We are grateful for the support we have received from many corporate citizens, Samsung being one of them. They are the cornerstones to our quest, as we seek to unearth shining stars that we hope will catapult Malaysia to fame one day,” said Gillian Hung, President of MODA.

Nigel Chia and his team of make-up artist and hairstylist took home the Samsung Innovation Collection Award for their creative creations inspired by the GALAXY S5. Meanwhile, Hariharan Arasu and his make-up and hairstyling team also won the Samsung Innovation Collection Award for their exceptional Samsung Gear 2 outfits and styling. To end the night, Ava Abdollahi bagged the title of Samsung Outstanding Designer Award, which yielded her a unit of the GALAXY S5. She was chosen based on the most creative use of fabric on an innovative and futuristic design.

CASTROL Brings To Life The 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP™

Known to football fans as Riuh 2 Rio, Castrol’s campaign activities around FIFA World Cup™ saw more than RM1 million worth of prizes given out to reward football fanatics!

Castrol also hosted a Brazilian-themed event called ‘Rio in Asia’ in Thailand. Castrol hosted over 600 customers from 19 countries in Phuket, Thailand, to give Castrol fans from across Asia an experience of the Castrol technology in experience through the Brand Experience centre which showcased the company’s power brands – Castrol EDGE, Castrol MAGNATEC, Castrol Power1 and Castrol VECTON. It was officially announced today that Malaysian music lovers will be in for a treat as rising independent acts Alex Goot & Against The Current will be making their way to our shores next month. Their highly anticipated joint concert tour – Alex Goot & Against The Current Live In KL will be staged at the Bentley Music Auditorium in Wisma Bentley Music, Damansara Mutiara, at 4.00pm on 24th August 2014, exactly one month from today.   Their Malaysian date is organized by upstart digital age concert promoters Skinny Buddies Entertainment, and is supported by YouTube Malaysia.

Alex Goot is a mercurially popular multi-talented independent pop artiste with four studio albums to his credit, who rose to fame by leveraging on the power of social media and YouTube.  Against The Current is an equally exciting pop rock band that has made similar strides tapping on platforms like YouTube. The band consists of Chrissy Constanza, Dan Gow and Will Ferri.  Both of these rising acts have collaborated with each other and created hits with covers like “Catch My Breath”, “Not over You” and “Beauty & A Beat”, which has raked them over 58 million views to date.

Against The Current is a young pop rock band that has made major strides tapping on online platforms like YouTube. Manakala Cecilia yang telah diselamatkan oleh Libay dan Carding pula hilang ingatan. Carlos menemani Olga ke luar negara untuk rawatan pembedahan plastik.

Demi memiliki cinta Carlos, Olga telah membuat keputusan untuk terus menyamar sebagai Cecilia. Selepas ingatan Cecilia pulih, dia perlu berhadapan dengan pelbagai dugaan untuk kembali ke pangkuan Carlos.

Afieqah Dan Andika Pemenang Peraduan #masukdramaseludup

Pencarian bakat baru drama ‘Seludup’ telahpun berakhir dengan pengumuman dua pemenang peraduan #masukdramaseludup yang dibuat hari ini.  Mohd Andika bin Abdul Halim (25 tahun) dan Nur Afieqah binti Zulkarnain (20 tahun) yang masing-masing berasal dari Johor dan Kuala Lumpur telahpun berjaya mengungguli pertandingan tersebut dan akan berpeluang berganding dengan nama-nama besar industri hiburan negara seperti Pekin Ibrahim, Tiz Zaqyah, Namron, Syafie Naswip dan Raja Ilya. Turut membintangi drama bersiri 13 episod ini adalah Jehan Miskin, yang juga bertindak sebagai penerbit eksekutif dan pengarah.

Dilancarkan oleh Astro Malaysia dan Mastermind Group Sdn. Bhd., drama sarat aksi dan cinta ini berkisar tentang kegiatan perdagangan barangan haram seperti rokok seludup, dadah dan pemerdagangan manusia yang menjejaskan pendapatan, keselamatan dan kualiti hidup masyarakat Malaysia. Produksi ini telah memilih daerah Pantai Pengkalan Balak di Masjid Tanah, Melaka sebagai lokasi dan kini di dalam fasa kedua penggambaran.

Menurut Jehan, “Pencarian bakat ini dimulakan sejak 25 Jun 2014 dan ia telah menerima sambutan di luar jangkaan dengan kiriman lebih 130 penyertaan melalui video yang dimuat turun di laman Facebook ‘Seludup’.  Dua pemenang yang dipilih ini adalah yang terbaik di antara mereka”.

“Berdasarkan karekter mereka, saya telah menulis dua watak sampingan di dalam ‘Seludup’ yang bakal dilakonkan oleh dua bakat baru ini. Tujuan kami bukan sahaja untuk mencipta kelainan dan memberikan lebih impak kepada ‘Seludup’, tetapi juga untuk memeriahkan lagi suasana industri hiburan tanahair” ulas Jehan lagi.

Mohd Andika yang merupakan seorang pekerja restoran berkata “Saya amat berterima kasih kepada para juri yang telah memilih saya dan saya percaya saingan adalah sangat sengit. Peluang ini akan saya gunakan sepenuhnya untuk mencapai impian saya menjadikan bidang lakonan sebagai kerjaya”. Perasaan gembiranya turut dikongsi Nur Afieqah, seorang pelajar yang menyifatkan peraduan ini sebagai usaha yang sangat unik untuk mendedahkan bakat baru dengan realiti sebenar kerjaya lakonan.

Selain peluang keemasan untuk berlakon di dalam drama ‘Seludup’, pemenang-pemenang juga akan menerima hadiah bernilai sehingga RM15,000.

100 Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo – JOHOR BAHRU

Starting from 30th Aug – 4th Jan 2015, Malaysians will have another chance to be part of this exciting event as the 100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets Expo will be moving to Johor Bahru City Square, with the theme: “Everyone wants a Doraemon!”

100 Doraemon Secret Gadget Expo – JOHOR BAHRU: What to Expect?

Not only will the expo feature the original 100 life-sized Doraemon figurines, 100 iconic gadgets and well-known scenes in Doraemon stories, there are brand new things that fans can expect:

New Gadgets, New Scenes.

“Fans should expect an all new Doraemon experience when the expo travels to JOHOR BAHRU. There will be a change of scene and feel for the 100 Doraemon area with more new gadgets, more new iconic scenery for plenty of photo taking opportunities,” promises Mr. Steve Chow – the director of Animation International (M) Sdn Bhd. “Just to give you a hint of what to expect: there’s a garden wedding, and a brand new Nobita’s School scenery!”

Some of the interesting and bizarre gadgets that fans can check out include: a “Dokodemo Door” that allows to travel anywhere by simply going through the door, a “Take-Copter” which is a bamboo propeller which can airlift you to safety, to the fan favorite “Time Machine” which enables one travel through time and space.

 Ambassadors: Jack Lim and Fuying & Sam

In accordance to the theme for the Second leg of the Malaysian 100 Doraemon Gadget Expo “Everyone wants a Doraemon”, there will be special appearances by Ambassadors Jack Lim and FS Fuying & Sam. Jack Lim was selected to the expo’s ambassador as he is a family man, who is a good father and a good husband. FS Fuying & Sam, on the other hand, are ideal role models for teens and the youth.

To fully embrace the theme “Everyone wants a Doraemon”, the expo is be holding various exciting activities, events and online campaigns to let visitors fully enjoy and immerse themselves in the Doraemon experience. Stay tuned to find out more about these activities in store!
