Wkndfest To Take Over Malaysia

With a passion for all things music and events, Wkndfest is an up and coming event organiser that aims to reignite the ripple effect in Malaysia’s live music scene starting with giving Malaysians the ultimate music experience this September. Wkndfest Vol. 1: K-Pop Edition will give Malaysians the opportunity to catch notable artists such as iKON, Momoland, Mamamoo, (G)I-dle and many more live in Kuala Lumpur.

The brainchild of Khairul Anwar, Amirul Hafiz and Shahrin Kamaruzaman; Wkndfest came to life with the sole purpose of bringing together music lovers from all around Malaysia to enjoy live music events from different genres every year. Making this the first instalment of Wkndfest’s music experience, the genius trio are already working towards launching 3 Wkndfest series by 2020 focusing on K-Pop, Hip-Hop and Pop.

“As music lovers ourselves, we were inspired to organise quarterly music events with a focus on different genres each so we could touch various music communities. It’s the embodiment of an exhilarating atmosphere where these hardcore supporters come together and catch their favourite artists under one roof making it the ultimate music experience.” said Khairul Anwar, Wkndfest Managing Director. Bringing these well-known music groups together as part of the first instalment of the Wkndfest experience was an intentional move by the Wkndfest founders having experienced and observed the intensity of a K-Pop environment themselves.

“We can’t think of a better genre to start our first WkndFest event than with K-pop as we’ve seen an immense interest and following over the years. Having been inspired by the passion of K-Pop fans and how incredible it’s being embraced internationally, we thought it the genre represented the current trend of today’s music.” said Amirul Hafiz, Wkndfest Executive Director.

With plans to release more artist lineups, Wkndfest plan to have many more popular artists to announce within the next couple of months to ensure that Malaysians and K-Pop fans around the Southeast Asia region have an unparalleled moment with their favourite performers. “We’re excited to have the opportunity to bring down as many talented artists from South Korea for our first ever Wkndfest event. Definitely the first of many to come.” said Shahrin Kamaruzaman, Operation Director.

Maraton muzik di hujung minggu bersama iKON dan WINNER MACPIEPRO

Peminat K-pop Malaysia sangat bertuah kerana dua kumpulan ternama yang bernaung di bawah pengurusan YG Entertainment iaitu iKON dan WINNER bakal berkunjung ke negara ini.

Kunjungan mereka yang dibawa khas oleh MacpiePro ini merupakan sebahagian daripada siri jelajahan dua kumpulan ternama itu.

Konsert anjuran MacpiePro, iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR dan WINNER 2018 EVERYWHERE TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR akan diadakan di Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam pada 13 Oktober (Sabtu) dan 14 Oktober (Ahad), bermula pada pukul 6 petang.

WINNER akan membuat penampilan pertama mereka di Malaysia, manakala ini adalah kemunculan kali kedua untuk kumpulan iKON.

Konsert dua hari berturut-turut pada hujung minggu itu, membuktikan bahawa MacpiePro memenuhi janji untuk menyemarakkan lagi persembahan secara langsung di masa akan datang kepada peminat-peminat K-Pop tempatan.

iKON dianggotai oleh tujuh ahli iaitu, B.I, Jay, Bobby, Song, Ju-ne, DK dan Chan. Huruf “C” dalam “ICON” digantikan dengan “K” bagi membayangkan bahawa anggota kumpulan tersebut mampu menjadi ikon Korea. Sementara itu, kumpulan WINNER yang dianggotai oleh empat pemuda, Yoon, Jinu, Hoony dan Mino.

Tiket untuk setiap konsert berharga RM693 (Zon IKONIC / INNER CIRCLE), RM673 (Zon Merah), RM573 (Zon Kuning), RM483 (Zon Ungu), RM373 (Zon Hijau) dan RM273 (Zon Biru).

Menepati kehendak ramai iaitu “MUZIK TANPA TEKANAN”, pihak MacpiePro menawarkan harga tiket yang berpatutan secara eksklusif kepada penonton remaja untuk hadir pada kedua-dua konsert tersebut kerana harga istimewa itu pernah ditawarkan dalam pesta muzik anjurannya sebelum ini.

Peminat yang berumur 18 tahun ke bawah berhak menikmati harga istimewa RM98 untuk tiket berharga RM273 untuk kedua-dua konsert ini. Tiket boleh didapati melalui www.ticketcharge.com.my. Untuk 400 peminat pertama yang membeli tiket Zon IKONIC/INNER CIRCLE, atau 150 orang peminat pertama yang membeli tiket Zon Merah, berhak untuk mendapat PAS SOUNDCHECK, manakala 280 orang peminat pertama yang membeli tiket Zon Kuning akan mendapat PAS SENDOFF untuk mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada kumpulan kegemaran masing-masing. Selain itu, setiap pembeli akan mendapat poster rasmi juga. Semua itu bergantung kepada terma dan syarat-syarat yang telah ditetapkan.
