Fans made their way to KL Live on 10th December 2017 to catch their favourite white-helmet-masked DJ, Marshmello. Fans started lining up as early as 5pm at the venue in anticipation of the DJ’s second show in Kuala Lumpur.
Opening the show and kicking off the night on the right note was South East Asia’s fastest-growing EDM queen, EVA T. Well-known in the region for her upbeat and contemporary sounds of electro house, EVA T truly set the tone for the night. As the audience warmed up, home-grown dubstep duo DRPX took over the stage and served a memorable set that only built up the excitement even more. When the time finally came for Marshmello, the crowd was ready and welcomed the DJ onstage, who was decked in an all-white outfit from helmet to toe, with raucous applause.
To the delight of the audience, Marshmello started off his set nothing short than expected. The space came to life as the crowd sang and danced along to his
collaboration hit song with pop superstar, Selena Gomez titled ‘Wolves’ as well as the hit song “Alone”. As the night continued, Marshmello kept the energy levels high throughout his set, which only left the crowd wanting more.
The loveable DJ’s helmet lit up with colourful LED lights as he entertained fans, mirroring the fun and enthusiastic ambiance in KL Live that last night Marshmello, leaving the crowd buzzing with energy even after a whole night of dancing.

Usia festival Rockaway Fest: The Saga Continuest, kumpulan Taking Back Sunday bakal menjadi hos pada parti BBQ yang dijadualkan berlangsung di The Bee, Publika pada 20 November. Pada majlis tertutup tersebut, Taking Back Sunday juga akan mempersembahkan 12 lagu dari album terbaru mereka, Tidal Wave, secara “live” buat julung kalinya. Oh Chentaku dan One Buck Short juga bakal membuat persembahan selain kumpulan rock alternatif popular tersebut.
Para peminat Rockaway dapat membuat sedikit persiapan untuk konsert pada 19 November ini atas kerjasama Hotlink, selaku Rakan Telekomunikasi Rasmi Festival Rockaway. Hotlink telah bekerjasama dengan beberapa kumpulan yang bakal membuat persembahan agar para peminat dapat menyanyi bersama kumpulan pujaan mereka melalui applikasi karaoke Sing! by Smule. DJ Snake, the Grammy nominated producer well-known for his collaborations with Lil Jon and Justin Bieber, will be making his way down to Kuala Lumpur on Dec 11. Organised by The Livescape Group and in collaboration with PLAY and KC & Friends, the event at KL LIVE will be part of TWP (The White Party).
Having started DJ-ing at the age of 14, DJ Snake has turned from prodigy to a world-class producer having produced Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album which earned him a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. He has also collaborated with Lil Jon to produce the hit Turn Down for What.
TWP is Kuala Lumpur’s premier white party and has in the past featured the likes of Steve Aoki and Afrojack. It aims to provide guests with a heightened premium clubbing experience. Guests are required to come dressed in at least one item of clothing in white as part of the event’s dress code.

The Livescape Group hari ini mengumumkan bahawa platform rock yang begitu dinanti-nantikan, Rockaway, akan kembali lagi tahun ini. Festival yang berhenti beristirehat selama 3 tahun lalu, digelar festival rock perdana Malaysia dan pada masa-masa lalu telah mengetengahkan, antara lain, kumpulan-kumpulan seperti Bring Me The Horizon, Dashboard Confessional, You Me At Six, Sum 41, dan Paramore.
“Kami mengambil masa untuk memperkenalkan semula Rockaway kerana pihak kami sedang merancang sesuatu yang cukup besar. Melihat barisan yang telah kami umumkan hari ini, saya rasa para peminat rock bukan sahaja dari Malaysia, malah dari rantau sebelah sini juga, pasti akan amat teruja. Pihak kami berhasil mendapatkan band-band legenda bermula dari Scorpions, membawa kepada Butterfingers yang telah begitu lama dinantikan hampir tujuh tahun lamanya untuk muncul kembali,” ujar Rahul Kukreja, Pengarah Acara Langsung bagi The Livescape Group.
Akan tetapi kemunculan kembali Rockaway pada 2016 ini akan disemarakkan bukan dengan satu bahkan dua festival besar. Yang pertama, acara dua hari yang akan berlangsung di Litar Antarabangsa Sepang pada 29 & 30 Oktober. Acara ini dijenamakan sebagai “Rockaway Weekender” akan menampilkan rocker-rocker legenda Scorpions, legenda tempatan Wings dan Muzza’s Mayhem pada Hari 1 (29 Oktober).
Hari 2 (30 Oktober) menyaksikan Wolfmother, dan artis-artis serantau seperti WTNSS, Daarchlea, dan Artefacts. Menurut pihak penganjur, mereka akan berusaha menambah “satu atau dua lagi kumpulan pemuzik antarabangsa” untuk hari ini.
Memandangkan lebih 10,000 peminat dijangka datang pada setiap hari, maka acara “Rockaway Weekender” akan diadakan di B Hillstand di Litar Antarabangsa Sepang berhadapan selekoh 13 hingga 14 trek. Ini membolehkan penggemar konsert menyaksikan perlumbaan MotoGP dari arena Rockaway.

Susulan kepada “Rockaway Weekender”, festival Rockaway kedua, digelar ‘Rockaway The Saga Continues’, berlangsung pada 19 November di Extreme Park, Bukit Jalil. Acara Rockaway 2016 akan menyaksikan kumpulan Third Eye Blind, Taking Back Sunday, dan The Get Up Kids membuat konsert langsung di Malaysia. Festival ini juga akan menjadi suatu nostalgia bagi para peminat rock tempatan kerana pertunjukan ini akan menampilkan Butterfingers yang kembalinya sekian lama dinantikan, yang akan mempersembahkan pertunjukan ulang tahun ke-20 mereka di Rockaway. Selain itu, pertunjukan untuk Zainal Abidin (pertunjukan ulang tahun ke-30) juga turut disusun.
Festival Rockaway kedua jurut menampilkan pengembalian penuh nostalgia bagi wira-wira tempatan Butterfingers, yang bakal mengadakan persembahan penuh mereka buat kali pertama setelah hampr 7 tahun berlalu, ini juga bersempena dengan pertunjukan ulang tahun ke-20 mereka di Rockaway 2016 Finale. Lain-lain persembahan penuh nostalgia termasuklah Zainal Abidin (pertunjukan ulang tahun ke-30), One Buck Short (pertunjukan ulang tahun ke-13), dan kembalinya Alleycats. Festival ini juga menampilkan kolaborasi julung-julung kalinya dengan Radhi OAG yang akan berkongsi pentas dengan Hujan.

Fans can finally breathe easy as one of the best in electronic dance music, Skrillex, is finally making his way to Malaysia for the first time for an exclusive show on September 23 at KL LIVE. Organized by The Livescape Group, the one-night-only show headlined by the multiple-Grammy Award and MTV Video Music Award recipient is expected to attract over 2,500 fans.
Sonny Moore, better known by his stage name, Skrillex, is one of the world’s biggest names in electronic dance music that shot to fame in 2011. He is also one half of the electronic duo, Jack U, which he collaborates with Diplo. Their latest single, Where Are Ü Now, features Justin Bieber, and is currently conquering top spots of music charts globally.

The floating music festival is expected to attract a sold-out crowd of over 3,800 fans of which 80% will come from international destinations such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, Taiwan, South Korea, the USA and Europe. To date, the ship is currently at 60% capacity with 41 nationalities making up those already on-board.
As part of the holistic IT’S THE SHIP experience, the 15-deck Mariner of The Seas will flaunt a casino, 10 pools and whirlpools, 17 bars, clubs and lounges, a duty-free shopping promenade, a full service day spa, an ice skating rink, a mini golf course, a full sized basketball court and a rock climbing wall overlooking the sea. One of the world’s most popular fun run is set to illuminate its first course ever in Malaysia in what will be a never before seen creative, neon coloured nocturnal run on August 30 at the Selangor Turf Club. The Livescape Group today announced the first phase lineup to Asia’s largest music festival at sea, IT’S THE SHIP 2015. The festival cum vacation this year will see the likes of Kaskade, Ferry Corsten, Peking Duk, Will Sparks, Autograf, Doorly, Tiger Lily, TWRK, Alex Adair, My Nu Leng, Apple Bottom, and Woz perform alongside a host of regional artistes.
The lineup thus far features a variety of sub-genres in the electronic music scene, with the sounds of trap, EDM, and house represented in the phase 1 announcement. Organisers are also looking at diversifying the music selection and are looking at adding pop and hiphop acts onto the full lineup, which will be announced in July.
The phase 1 lineup is headlined by one of the highest paid DJs in the world and two-time Grammy nominee, Kaskade, who also recently headlined the Coachella music festival. It will also for the first time, play host to Ferry Corsten’s signature event, Full On which will also feature a selection of artistes handpicked by Ferry himself – acts will also be announced in July with previous editions show having featured a range of electronic music legends to up and coming talents. Australia is also strongly represented on the lineup with three of the biggest Aussie acts to have emerged on the global electronic music scene – Peking Duk, Tiger Lily and the king of Melbourne-bounce, Will Sparks. All three have been making waves across the globe and have recently dominated some of the world’s largest music festivals.
IT’S THE SHIP 2015 will take place aboard Royal Caribbean International’s “Mariner of the Seas”, one of the largest cruise liners in the world, and is expected to attract a total of 3,800 people. Currently, the festival has sold over 40% of its cabins since sales began just over a month ago with 80% of purchases being snapped up by tourists. An influx of foreign fans from 19 countries such as Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, the United States of America and the United Kingdom, among others currently make up the purchasers.
The four-day and three-night floating music festival cum vacation is set to depart from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore on November 20, crossing international waters on the straits of Malacca to the tropical island of Langkawi in Malaysia for a beach party, before returning to Singapore shores on November 23.
“We are very encouraged by the response so far, having sold over 40% of our cabins even before we have announced our lineup. In conjunction with the announcement today we are also releasing limited number of cabins with a 20% discount and I urge those who have yet to buy their cabins to do so soon as our cabins are selling fast and we are expecting a sold-out festival this year. This is one festival vacation you won’t want to miss,” explained Muhammad Iqbal, Group Chief Executive Officer for The Livescape Group.
The inaugural IT’S THE SHIP 2014 saw the likes of Dash Berlin, Lil Jon, Chvrches, Sasha Grey, Basement Jaxx, and over 30 other international and regional acts perform over 5 days and 4 nights of the cruise’s duration.
Last year’s installment saw the likes of Dash Berlin casually sun-tanning on the cruise’s pool decks every morning and playing beach soccer with fans at the beach party in Langkawi while Felix of Basement Jaxx helped a man propose to his wife-to-be at what is IT’S THE SHIP’s first ever wedding proposal.
Then there was Sick Individuals, Alex Metric and Aeroplane, who played a round of “tipsy” golf with fans and Crookers who hosted a cooking class while Louisahhh!!! got busy with fans at her RPM session at the gym. There were also a tonne of secret pop-up parties that took place on the cruise including a pyjama party and even a private after party hosted by Sasha Grey. Lil Jon also hosted the fans to a private beach party in Langkawi.
“One of the key talking points from the fans who attended last year’s festival was the fact that they not only got to see their favorite acts perform live but they also got to interact with the artistes in person over the duration of the festival. A new payment option has also been introduced for IT’S THE SHIP 2015 where guests can opt to pay for their cabins via a monthly installment plan. Installment plans for IT’S THE SHIP 2015 varies depending on types of cabin purchased and are priced at USD89, USD106, USD129 and USD149 per month. Payment plans require a USD200 down payment per person and monthly payment plans will be adjusted depending on the date of purchase. IT’S THE SHIP 2015 takes place from 20 – 23 November 2015 aboard the luxurious 5-star Royal Caribbean International cruise liner, “Mariner of the Seas” and is expected to attract over 3,800 fans of which 60% are expected to come from outside of Singapore. The inaugural edition last year saw close to 2,500 fans from across 49 countries travelling to Singapore specifically for IT’S THE SHIP.
The 15-deck Mariner of The Seas features a casino, a rock-climbing wall that overlooks the sea, a full sized basketball court, ice-skating rink, mini golf course, a duty-free shopping promenade, full service day spa, 10 pools and whirlpools, and 17 bars, clubs and lounges.

The Livescape Group, organisers of the Backstreet Boys’ “In A World Like This” tour live in Malaysia has confirmed that an additional 600 tickets will be added to the show. Earlier tickets were snapped up within 5 days of its sales launch last month. Priority for these limited CAT 2 and CAT 5 tickets, will be given to fans who have been on the waiting list since the show sold out on 6 February. The remainder of the tickets will be available for purchase for customers on The Livescape Group’s database. Invitations to purchase these tickets will be sent out via email.
When the tickets to the show went on sale, the discounted early bird tickets sold out within five minutes and limited Release 1 tickets followed next within 10 minutes. The rest of the normal priced tickets sold out within five days. The organizers, The Livescape Group, has also confirmed that they will not be adding a second show or moving to a bigger venue for this sellout show.
“It’s amazing that the show sold out within 5 days. This is testament to the Backstreet Boys’ popularity and huge following in Malaysia. We have managed to open up more seats to be sold for the show so, hopefully this will give fans who missed out on getting tickets the first time around, a chance to see them live. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to move the show to a bigger venue nor will we add another show to this leg of their tour due to their tight schedules. The five piece American pop vocal group consists of members A.J. McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell. The band shot to fame with their self-titled debut album, Backstreet Boys in 1996. Following the success of their first album, the Backstreet Boys released their second international album Backstreet’s Back in 1997. The then teenage heartthrobs rose to even greater heights and superstardom with their third album Millennium in 1999 and a fourth album, Black and Blue in 2000 as a follow up album to Millennium. They’ve sold over 130,000 million records worldwide, making them the best selling boy band in the world.
The group took a two year break before releasing a comeback album Never Gone in 2005. After successfully completing their Never Gone Tour in 2006, band member Kevin Richardson, left the group to pursue a solo career in singing, modelling, and acting. Nevertheless, the Backstreet Boys continued promotions as a four piece vocal group and released two albums, Unbreakable in 2007 and This Is Us in 2009. In 2012, the group made fans worldwide happy when they announced that Richardson had rejoined the Backstreet Boys permanently. In 2013, the band celebrated their 20th anniversary by releasing their first independent album, In A World Like This.
The Backstreet Boys “In A World Like This” Tour in Malaysia will take place at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur on May 3. All Future Music Festival Asia 2015 ticket purchasers will have their tickets refunded. Reimbursement of refunds for FMFA 2015, which was scheduled to be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore on 13 & 14 March 2015, will begin in batches tomorrow (Tuesday, 10 March 2015). The refund process is expected to take between 30 – 45 days to complete.
No submission from ticket purchasers will be required as the refund process is automated. Please refer to the below on refund processes:
·For all SISTIC and Galactix ticket buyers who have purchased tickets via a credit or debit card, refunds will be credited directly into your respective accounts. This includes refunds for car park passes purchased. Reimbursements of your refund are expected to take at maximum 30 – 45 days. (If the tickets were purchased using a local Singaporean credit or debit card, you can expect to receive refunds within 7 – 14 days).
·Refunds for SISTIC tickets purchased via cash or eNETS will also be refunded within a one-month period. Collection of refunds can be made at the SISTIC Headquarters (10 Eunos Road 8, #03-04, Singapore Post Centre, Singapore 408600). A subsequent official announcement will be made when refunds are ready to be collected.
·For those who have preloaded credits onto your wristband, refunds will also be credited directly back into your credit or debit card account within 30 – 45 days.
·Ticket refunds will also be made payable to all ticket buyers who have purchased packages via an FMFA authorized travel agent. We have instructed the travel agents to refund you directly within 30 – 45 days.

Update, 6.15PM, Sunday, 8 March 2015: The organisers of Future Music Festival Asia 2015 are saddened to announce that we have had to cancel the festival which was scheduled to be held this Friday and Saturday, March 13 & 14, at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore.
Full ticket refunds will now be made to all FMFA ticket buyers, details of which will be made available by Monday evening. We are also aware of the many fans overseas that have made travel arrangements into Singapore for the festival. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience you’ve been put through.
