Did you have some other plans
Just cancel em give me your hands
Let me take you to somewhere new
Let me take you
If it’s not too much to ask
Let’s forget about the past
If it’s not too much to ask
Let’s just try to make this last and
Let me take you to somewhere new X 3
Let me take you

Verse 2 :
No more time to waste let’s leave in haste and

This May 29, immerse yourself in Heatwave, a show-stopping music event as not one, but four renowned deejays take the stage. This epic party experience will take place at Rougeur, the latest upbeat nightspot to welcome revellers in the heart of downtown Kuala Lumpur. As for the star-studded lineup, you’ll be entertained by a mix of local and international deejays, each one bringing a unique spin to the electronic trance genre for an energetic evening of sights, sounds and sensation.
Doors will open at 8:00 PM and the party begins when Malaysian deck maestros MisterAriffin and Adib work their magic on the console. MisterAriffin is already a house-hold name among partygoers, having done festival duties for Future Sound System alongside other big names such as Paul van Dyk and Guiseppe Ottaviani. He has also played at every MC Asia event, warming up for Dash Berlin, Richard Durand, Jerome Isma-ae and during last New Year’s Eve, he shared the decks with the likes of Trance new wonderkids, Andrew Rayel, KhoMha and Marlo. Deejay Adib on the other hand, is no stranger to the genre either. This self-taught spinner has mastered numerous styles from House to Techno to Progressive House and played at pretty much every notable club in Kuala Lumpur. His other exploits include hosting the Safari Bar at the Future Music Festival Asia 2014 and opening for DJ Tenishia at Hugo’s Lounge in 2013.
Following that, Australian EDM queen Jesabel will take the stage with her medley of electro and house beats. Having won boutique DJ competitions at Soho Fridays and GirlThing last year, this Sydney-based lass has been making a name for herself at DJ booths both down under and abroad. She’s got the support of some of Australia’s top talents including Tigerlily, Uberjak’d and Will Sparks and recently performed for a crowd of over 8,000 at Singapore’s Two Queens beach festival.
The final act for the evening is the main event itself, a rocking performance by Heatbeat. The Argentinean double team took the global EDM stage by storm with their cutting edge, futuristic sound which fuses multiple genres together to create a smashing new beat that has set the house scene on fire. In 2012, thanks to chart-topping hits including ‘Boom’, ‘Game Over’, ‘Extra Bacon’, ‘Rocker Monster’ and ‘Roses Never Cry’, the duo finally made their debut entry into DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs at position 81. They’ve also been invited to remix and collaborate with major club scene leaders such as Armin Van Buuren, W&W, John O’ Callaghan and Cosmic Gate.
Tickets for the Heatwave event include 1 complimentary beverage and are priced at RM59 (early bird) and RM75 (regular). All pricing is GST inclusive. For details, call Ticketpro at +603–7780 7999. The Livescape Group today announced the first phase lineup to Asia’s largest music festival at sea, IT’S THE SHIP 2015. The festival cum vacation this year will see the likes of Kaskade, Ferry Corsten, Peking Duk, Will Sparks, Autograf, Doorly, Tiger Lily, TWRK, Alex Adair, My Nu Leng, Apple Bottom, and Woz perform alongside a host of regional artistes.
The lineup thus far features a variety of sub-genres in the electronic music scene, with the sounds of trap, EDM, and house represented in the phase 1 announcement. Organisers are also looking at diversifying the music selection and are looking at adding pop and hiphop acts onto the full lineup, which will be announced in July.
The phase 1 lineup is headlined by one of the highest paid DJs in the world and two-time Grammy nominee, Kaskade, who also recently headlined the Coachella music festival. It will also for the first time, play host to Ferry Corsten’s signature event, Full On which will also feature a selection of artistes handpicked by Ferry himself – acts will also be announced in July with previous editions show having featured a range of electronic music legends to up and coming talents. Australia is also strongly represented on the lineup with three of the biggest Aussie acts to have emerged on the global electronic music scene – Peking Duk, Tiger Lily and the king of Melbourne-bounce, Will Sparks. All three have been making waves across the globe and have recently dominated some of the world’s largest music festivals.
IT’S THE SHIP 2015 will take place aboard Royal Caribbean International’s “Mariner of the Seas”, one of the largest cruise liners in the world, and is expected to attract a total of 3,800 people. Currently, the festival has sold over 40% of its cabins since sales began just over a month ago with 80% of purchases being snapped up by tourists. An influx of foreign fans from 19 countries such as Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, the United States of America and the United Kingdom, among others currently make up the purchasers.
The four-day and three-night floating music festival cum vacation is set to depart from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore on November 20, crossing international waters on the straits of Malacca to the tropical island of Langkawi in Malaysia for a beach party, before returning to Singapore shores on November 23.
“We are very encouraged by the response so far, having sold over 40% of our cabins even before we have announced our lineup. In conjunction with the announcement today we are also releasing limited number of cabins with a 20% discount and I urge those who have yet to buy their cabins to do so soon as our cabins are selling fast and we are expecting a sold-out festival this year. This is one festival vacation you won’t want to miss,” explained Muhammad Iqbal, Group Chief Executive Officer for The Livescape Group.
The inaugural IT’S THE SHIP 2014 saw the likes of Dash Berlin, Lil Jon, Chvrches, Sasha Grey, Basement Jaxx, and over 30 other international and regional acts perform over 5 days and 4 nights of the cruise’s duration.
Last year’s installment saw the likes of Dash Berlin casually sun-tanning on the cruise’s pool decks every morning and playing beach soccer with fans at the beach party in Langkawi while Felix of Basement Jaxx helped a man propose to his wife-to-be at what is IT’S THE SHIP’s first ever wedding proposal.
Then there was Sick Individuals, Alex Metric and Aeroplane, who played a round of “tipsy” golf with fans and Crookers who hosted a cooking class while Louisahhh!!! got busy with fans at her RPM session at the gym. There were also a tonne of secret pop-up parties that took place on the cruise including a pyjama party and even a private after party hosted by Sasha Grey. Lil Jon also hosted the fans to a private beach party in Langkawi.
“One of the key talking points from the fans who attended last year’s festival was the fact that they not only got to see their favorite acts perform live but they also got to interact with the artistes in person over the duration of the festival. One key consideration we take when booking acts for IT’S THE SHIP is we tend to book acts that are more outgoing and sociable because we want them to interact with the fans not only through their music but also via the other activities onboard the cruise as well. And because of the laidback, vacation-like atmosphere, it was very possible”, Iqbal added.
A new payment option has also been introduced for IT’S THE SHIP 2015 where guests can opt to pay for their cabins via a monthly installment plan. Installment plans for IT’S THE SHIP 2015 varies depending on types of cabin purchased and are priced at USD89, USD106, USD129 and USD149 per month. Payment plans require a USD200 down payment per person and monthly payment plans will be adjusted depending on the date of purchase. More details on the installment plans can be found at www.itstheship.com.
IT’S THE SHIP 2015 takes place from 20 – 23 November 2015 aboard the luxurious 5-star Royal Caribbean International cruise liner, “Mariner of the Seas” and is expected to attract over 3,800 fans of which 60% are expected to come from outside of Singapore. The inaugural edition last year saw close to 2,500 fans from across 49 countries travelling to Singapore specifically for IT’S THE SHIP.
The 15-deck Mariner of The Seas features a casino, a rock-climbing wall that overlooks the sea, a full sized basketball court, ice-skating rink, mini golf course, a duty-free shopping promenade, full service day spa, 10 pools and whirlpools, and 17 bars, clubs and lounges.
Cabins for IT’S THE SHIP 2015 are priced per person from USD588 for an interior stateroom to USD4,888 for a luxurious Royal Suite. We are extremely disappointed that our appeal to the Ministry of Home Affairs to organise Future Music Festival Asia 2015 (FMFA15) in Singapore has been unsuccessful. We can confirm that we have received the official rejection of our appeal. FMFA firmly stands behind our goal of creating a drug-free event for our festival goers to enjoy. Despite having put in place a robust event, security, safety and medical management plan which has been developed alongside both local and international experts with a combined 50 years of experience in running similar large-scale events, our Public Entertainment License has not been granted. The plans that have been developed far exceeds international standards.
We emphasise that the safety and security of our festival goers are of utmost importance and will continue to be our number one priority. Regarding concerns the authorities may have about the drug-related incidents that took place in Malaysia last year, we reiterate that these were isolated incidents that took place outside Singapore, which cannot and do not carry any implication that FMFA is linked to drug use or drug abuse.
In light of this development, we are assessing all options and formulating our next course of action. Full details of this will be made available over the next few days.
After the very successful TWP ft. Steve Aoki late last year, we had to bring back The White Party sooner than expected due to huge demand. We had to go BIGGER & BETTER so we are happy to announce that this time AFROJACK himself will be headlining the party this March 13 @ KL Live.
Expect a white party like no other as we change the atmosphere in KL Live into a -One Night Only- Milky yet Rich theme party with multiple surprises being thrown at you from all corners at any given time!
About Afrojack
Grammy award winning DJ and producer, Afrojack, is one of most notable and iconic names in electronic dance music (EDM) today. At only 26 years old he has made a large impact on the music industry and is a key player in the worldwide explosion and popularity of EDM. In 2013, Forbes magazine crowned him as #7 on ‘The World’s Highest Paid DJs List’ and this year The Hollywood Reporter called him ‘’a global icon’’ set ‘’to conquer the world.’’ A talented producer and artist Afrojack is versatile and creative with his sound whether creating club hits or producing and remixing for the likes of Beyoncé, Pitbull or Madonna. Afrojack is adept at shifting between genres and playing with his sound and it’s easy to see why his skills are some of the most sought after in the world.
Starting off in his hometown of Spijkenisse, Nick van de Wall aka Afrojack, quickly made a name for himself with a slew of hard-hitting underground releases, before exploding on the music scene in 2011 with the release of ‘Take Over Control’ - an instant worldwide club and chart hit the single reached platinum status in the U.S. Afrojack then went onto develop his own imprint in the production world with his label ‘Wall Recordings’ – a platform by which other passionate EDM artists could grow. He also wanted his label to retain the ‘club music’ brand, something he strives for with every Afrojack release. 2011 also saw Afrojack sign a landmark deal to become one of the first ever DJ’s to sign an annual residency in Las Vegas, at the legendary Wynn Hotel. The residency saw Afrojack perform over a dozen times a year at Wynn clubs including Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst and XS.
From there the success continued; as well as making club hits and collaborating with the likes of David Guetta (co-writing and producing the worldwide smash ‘Titanium’), he also began to team up with and write for A-list pop artists around the world, including Madonna and Chris Brown. In 2011, he co-wrote and produced ‘Give Me Everything’ for Pitbull and Ne-Yo, which to this day has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide and reached #1 in the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts. Not to mention his production work for Beyonce’s ‘Run the World (Girls),’ his Grammy nominated remix for Leona Lewis’ ‘Collide’ and his 2011 underground track ‘Rock The House,’ which topped the Beatport dance music charts after just three days. The same year he headlined both EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) NY & Las Vegas to over 300,000 people, as well as UMF (Ultra Music Festival) in Miami, Tomorrowland (in Belgium) and Coachella (LA) in addition a colossal 40 city ‘Jacked’ tour of the United States, all packed into 2012.
Last year got off to a monumental start when Afrojack signed an exclusive worldwide deal with Island Def Jam, Island UK and Universal Music Group. The deal saw Afrojack’s talent be recognized and supported by the renowned music label. The first project from the partnership was ‘The Spark’, a single that fused EDM and pop and showed a new sound for Afrojack as an artist. The year continued to be another huge one for Afrojack. For his fourth consecutive year he returned to headline Creamfields and at the Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowworld, he debuted his own ‘Jacked’ stage showcasing his Wall artists. He also found time to shoot a documentary web-series, ‘March of the Afrojack’, which gave fans an insight into the real person behind the Afrojack moniker. The series was released on the Rolling Stone website and saw Nick share many intimate moments and thoughts from his journey on the road along with his personal mantra “If I can do it, you can do it too.”
In late 2013 Afrojack made history as he became the first DJ to ring the closing bell at NASDAQ Stock Market Exchange in New York, as electronic dance company, SFX, went public. This also came in the same week as Afrojack cemented his hands into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the second DJ to ever do this and in doing so reinforced his position as a global music icon.
2014 is set to be another milestone year for Afrojack as he releases his second single ‘Ten Feet Tall’, starts a new DJ residency at Las Vegas hotspot Hakkasan and releases his debut album with Island Records.
