Minggu Setiausaha Ella 2016

ELLA, Ratu Rock Negara suatu nama yang tidak perlu diperkenalkan lagi. Lebih tiga dekad mengharungi kehidupan seni sehingga diangkat sebagai Ratu Rock Negara sudah cukup membuktikan kehebatan ELLA sebagai salah seorang penyanyi wanita terbaik negara. Tidak pernah sesekali muzik rock ELLA berkumandang merentas pentas Minggu Setiausaha. Pertama kali menerima cabaran menghiburkan setiausaha adalah sesuatu yang amat mengembirakan. “Ini merupakan kali pertama ELLA mengadakan Minggu Setiausaha. Tidak pernah terlintas langsung difikiran ELLA untuk beraksi di Minggu Setiausaha dan kini sampai masanya untuk ELLA menyahut cabaran ini. Lebih istimewa, cabaran itu datang dari suami ELLA sendiri.”

Janji ELLA ialah acara itu bakal disusun dengan rapi dan eksklusif buat peminat dan terutamanya para setiausaha yang bakal diraikan. Menurut ELLA atau nama sebenarnya Norzila Binti Aminuddin, “Kawan-kawan rapat ELLA juga ramai yang memujuk, menyokong dan memberi galakkan untuk membuat persembahan di minggu setiausaha, usaha ini. ELLA pernah mencatat nama dalam ‘Malaysia Book Of Records’ sebagai `Artis Wanita Pertama Yang Mempunyai Penjualan Album Terbanyak’ pada tahun 1998. ELLA turut melakar sejarah apabila beliau merupakan satu-satunya artis Malaysia pertama merakam album penuh di Amerika Syarikat (1992).

Tiket Minggu Setiausaha ELLA akan mula dijual bermula pada Januari 2016.   Meletakkan harga tiket serendah harga RM400 sementara tiket termahal RM800 seorang, merupakan percaturan paling rock dan eksklusif yang pernah dilakukan oleh ELLA. Tiga jenis tiket yang dijual ialah Platinum (RM400/seorang), Diamond (RM600/seorang) dan VIP (RM800/seorang). Cinta Si Wedding Planner yang diadaptasi daripada novel nukilan Dhiyana terbitan Karya Seni ini turut dilakonkan Fadlan Hazim, Shikin Kamal, Shima Anuar, Rosnah Johari, Dian P.Ramlee, Wan Sharmila, Idris Md. Diah dan ramai lagi. Drama 28 episod ini hasil terbitan Primeworks Studio, diarahkan oleh Along Kamaluddin manakala skrip ditulis oleh oleh Mufid Suhaimi.

Izara Batrisya (Zara), si wedding planner, tidak menduga cinta yang disulam bersama sepupunya, Bazli selama 4 tahun musnah kerana sebuah hakikat. VIOLA ARSA, penyanyi dangdut Indonesia yang mula meningkat naik dengan single beliau berjudul “Selfie”  dan “KPK” Kangen Pengen Ketemu. A national selection of 3Bskin Brand Ambassadors (3Bskin BA) have reached the final stage. 100 selected participants will be given samples for their feedback. After having gone through months of selection, The final selection is scheduled to kick off from 15th of Dec To 31st of Dec 2015. 3 out of 7 types of 3Bskin samples will be given out for testing. There are Detox Mask, Hydrating Mask & Scrub Mask.

The result of this selection will be announced in early of Jan 2016 in conjunction with the official launch of X Brand Ambassadors Search Malaysia 2016 (XBAS Malaysia 2016). 20 selected 3Bskin BAs will be invited to the XBAS Malaysia Press Conference (PC) and 3Bskin Soft Launch PC (End of Jan or Feb 2016)

VIDEO GAMES LIVE THE CONCERT MALAYSIA 2016

Video Games Live Concert will be held on the 27th of February 2016, at Stadium Negara. Its promoters, 11 To 11 Events Sdn. Bhd. has released further information on the show. Not only will the Video Games Concert be a show that combines the grandiose of a 30-piece orchestra (the National Symphony Orchestra of Istana Budaya) with electrifying guitar solos, a choir and vocalist all against a backdrop of a 82 foot video wall featuring super heavy electronic video effects with imagery from Warcraft and Pac-Man to Zelda and Mario. It promises to be an audio-video explosion of music and the digital world of gaming and cosplay.

‘Aquarius’ dibintangi oleh penerima anugerah Golden Globe, David Duchovny, sebagai Detektif Sam Hodiak, seorang detektif berpengalaman dengan penyiasatannya menjurus kepada aktiviti-aktiviti jahat ketua kultus dalam kehidupan sebenar, Charles Manson. Berlaku pada tahun 1960-an di Los Angeles, drama waktu perdana menarik, mempesona dan hebat secara visual ini berlaku beberapa tahun sebelum Manson menjadi dalang di sebalik pembunuhan paling kejam dalam generasi ini.

Seorang ketua yang bukan siapa-siapa, tapi berkarismatik, Manson mempunyai rancangan besar dan telah melatih orang-orang yang lemah untuk menyertai misinya. Berpasukan dengan seorang polis muda yang membantunya dalam menembusi kawasan Manson, Detektif Hodiak menyelidik dengan lebih mendalam jaringan kejahatan manipulasi, pembunuhan dan korupsi. Namun, di tengah-tengah arus anti-penubuhan budaya silang, gaya penyiasatannya yang provokatif telah meninggalkan kesan mendalam dan apabila Hodiak menyedari kehidupannya mula terdedah, nyawa orang lain sudah pun berada dalam bahaya. ‘Aquarius’ ialah produksi Tomorrow Studios.

Astro Shaw and A-List Present ‘SHORTCUTS – A STORYTELLING WORKSHOP’

Astro Shaw and A-List (Astro Channel 456) hosted its first series of workshops titled; ‘Shortcuts – Storytelling Workshop’ as part of its competitive short film funding scheme ‘Shortcuts’. The workshop which was held from 10 December to 12 December at the Content Malaysia Pitching Centre in Kuala Lumpur provided the growing community of young film talents in Malaysia a platform to learn from leading filmmakers from the Southeast Asian region.

Nine prolific Southeast Asian directors namely, Mouly Surya (Indonesia), Remton Siega Zuasola (Philippines), Bianca Balbuena (Philippines), Liew Seng Tat (Malaysia), Yosep Anggi Noen (Indonesia), Sherad Anthony Sanchez (Philippines), Minh Nguyen-Vo (Vietnam), Kongdej Jaturanrasmee (Thailand) and Joko Anwar (Indonesia) took up the role to mentor young Malaysian filmmakers at the workshop. Director of the hit Thai film ‘Ong Bak’, Prachya Pinkaew (Thailand) was invited as a guest speaker alongside Paolo Bertolin, programming correspondent for the Venice International Film Festival.

The workshop focused on interactions between mentors and participants in the form of brainstorming ideas rather than the traditional concept of taking notes. This helped the participants in creative thinking, which is essential for developing new and unique voices in Malaysian film.

At the end of the three-day workshop, participants were put through a pitching competition to select the top 3 pitches. Chen Yih Wen, Aw See Wee and Nadira Ilana were shortlisted for a guaranteed spot in consequent ‘Shortcuts’ workshops to vie for the three production grants comprising RM40,000 each. The eventual grant winner will have the opportunity to produce their short films with the potential of these films being showcased at local and regional film festivals as well as on A-List Channel (Channel 456).

Najwa Abu Bakar, Head of Astro Shaw said, “As a group, we aim to be the hub for filmmaking in Southeast Asia through nurturing and developing Malaysian creative talents in the art of film making via initiatives such as ‘Shortcuts’. Over the course of several intensive workshops focusing on various subject matters, ‘Shortcuts’ is a platform for participants to acquire knowledge and techniques from award winning directors and mentors in the Southeast Asian region to raise the standards for Malaysian film producers and directors to best in class so that they can compete on an Asian and global platform.”

To further engage with Astro’s audience apart from just nurturing creative talent, A-List (CH 456) will highlight these award-winning and critically acclaimed directors from across the Southeast Asian region in a special in-depth interview programme, Southeast Asia (SEA) Director Focus coupled with an award winning film from each director starting February 2016.

Filem MAT MOTO | Tidak dinafikan, sudah banyak kisah mengenai permotoran yang telah diadaptasi ke layar perak. Kini, sebuah lagi filem bercorak permotoran yang dihasilkan berjudul Mat Moto dengan menggunakan tagline ‘Kami Mat Moto Bukan Mat Rempit’.

Merupakan kolaborasi antara Pekin Ibrahim selaku Pengarah serta Syafiq Yusof yang bertindak sebagai Pengarah Bersama, filem terbitan Skop Production Sdn. Bhd., Viper Studios dan Fimtab Professional Film diterajui oleh Pekin dan Felisha Crossley.

Bagaimanapun, Mat Moto juga turut menampilkan keunikan yang tersendiri apabila terdapat beberapa artis popular lain turut membintangi filem ini. Antaranya seperti Shaheizy Sam, Zul Huzaimy, Faizal Hussein, Syamsul Yusof dan Kamarool Hj. Yusof.

Mat Moto mengisahkan lelaki bernama AL yang juga merupakan seorang pemilik sebuah syarikat suntingan filem yang telah mengembara ke empat buah negeri untuk menunaikan hajat sahabatnya, Spark yang telah meninggal dunia dalam satu kemalangan jalan raya.

Hajat AL dalam pengembaraan tersebut adalah untuk memiliki 4 jenis helmet ‘rare’ yang amat berharga dan digilai oleh penggemar motosikal di tanah air.

Dalam masa yang sama Sikha, seorang pelajar praktikal di pejabat AL telah mengikutinya dalam pengembaraan AL untuk mencari keempat-empat helmet tersebut dan ketika itulah bermula bibit cinta diantara mereka.

MTV WINS BEST ENTERTAINMENT (ONE-OFF/ANNUAL) AWARD AT ASIAN TELEVISION AWARDS 2015

MTV, the world’s biggest youth entertainment brand took home the Best Entertainment (One-off/Annual) Award at the Asian Television Awards held last night at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre for its music programme, MTV Music Evolution 2015. The show took place at the historic Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park in Manila, the Philippines to a live audience of over 22,000 fans and was recorded live in May this year for global telecast under the MTV World Stage global series to an international audience of more than three-quarters of a billion households in over 160 countries.

MTV Music Evolution featured a stellar line-up of international and local acts who took to the stage in celebration of iconic and contemporary hip-hop music. Through explosive performances by Naughty by Nature, YG, Apl.de.ap, DJ Cash Money, and the Philippines’ own Gloc-9 and Abra, MTV Music Evolution 2015 showcased the way that hip hop has shaken up the music scene throughout the years – taking the music genre to whole new levels for a live audience.

Lirik lagu dan komposisi muzik merupakan karya SonaOne sepenuhnya. “Firefly” merupakan sebuah lagu yang senang didengari dan berentak rancak yang dijangka mendapat sambutan baik dari peminat tegar beliau yang semakin bertambah di luar sana.

“Firefly diinspirasikan dari kisah benar kisah cinta kedua ibu bapa saya, secara tepatnya tatkala ayah saya pertama kali melabuhkan pandangan matanya pada ibu saya. Saya mengimbau kembali ke awal tahun 80-an dan cuba melakar kisah cinta mereka berdua, yang meyakinkan saya bahawa cinta sejati boleh kekal ke akhir hayat”, ujar SonaOne semasa membicarakan mengenai ilham disebalik lagu ini.
