TREC Bakal Jadi Hab Gaya Hidup Dan Hiburan Kuala Lumpur

TREC, projek pembangunan terkini dan sedang meningkat naik di tengah-tengah Kuala Lumpur telah diiktiraf oleh Kementerian Pelancongan sebagai sebuah Zon Hiburan Terpilih di bawah Tourism EPP8 semasa majlis pelancaran rasmi TREC hari ini.

Kementerian Pelancongan telah mengiktiraf TREC sebagai suatu penyumbang utama masa depan dalam usahanya untuk melonjakkan kedudukan Malaysia sebagai salah satu destinasi pelancongan utama di dunia. Pihak Kementerian mengiktiraf komitmennya untuk menarik paling kurang 1,000 orang pelancong sehari. Selain itu, sebagai suatu projek pembangunan penting di Kuala Lumpur, TREC juga akan mewujudkan lebih 1,800 pekerjaan dan menyumbangkan kira-kira RM140 juta kepada ekonomi tempatan setiap tahun.

“Buat masa ini Tourism NKEA memberi tumpuan kepada bidang pelancongan berhasil tinggi yang akan memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi dan guna tenaga di negara ini,” kata YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Tan Sri Abdul Aziz, Menteri Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan. “Dengan mengesahkan projek-projek pembangunan penting seperti TREC, kita bukan sahaja dapat mencapai pertumbuhan bermakna dalam bidang-bidang ini, tetapi juga bergerak semakin hampir mencapai wawasan 2020 kita iaitu menarik 36 juta pelancong dan menjana RM168 bilion dari segi perolehan pertukaran asing.”

Terletak di Jalan Tun Razak, TREC akan menjadi kawasan yang pertama dan satu-satunya dibina khas di Malaysia untuk F&B, gaya hidup dan hiburan – nadi hiburan bersepadu serenti seperti yang terdapat di Hong Kong “Lan Kwai Fong”, di Shanghai “Xin Tian Di” dan di Singapura “Clarke Quay”. Memandangkan Fasa 1 dijangka siap awal tahun 2015, TREC berhasrat menerapkan pelbagai suasana menerusi 5 zon yang menawarkan gabungan santapan, kafe indie, pub, kelab dan lounge, yang mampu menarik pelanggan tempatan dan juga antarabangsa.

TREC dibina atas sebidang tanah seluas tujuh ekar milik Kelab Golf Diraja Selangor di Jalan Tun Razak. Di sinilah juga lokasi baharu Zouk KL, pusat tumpuan pengunjung kelab terulung di kota raya, bakal menjadi pusat hiburan yang tiada bandingannya dalam kawasan Segi Tiga Emas Kuala Lumpur.

Astro On Demand is now available for Astro Wah Lai Toi viewers

Astro Wah Lai Toi viewers on the Dynasty Pack will be able to enjoy the latest TVB dramas broadcast at the same time as in Hong Kong through Astro On Demand (AOD) channels at no additional cost, from 11th July 2014 onwards.

Dua penulis lagu, Vaccarino dan Axel pertama kali bertemu di bilik latihan kolej mereka di Universiti New York. Selepas melalui pelbagai peristiwa pahit getir, mereka akhirnya menubuhkan A Great Big World sekali gus menghasilkan sebuah album EP yang mengandungi enam buah lagu. A Great Big World pernah mengadakan persembahan bersama Christina Aguilera dalam program ‘The Voice’ dan lagu itu dengan pantas mendaki carta apabila berada di kedudukan nombor satu di iTunes. Ketika kejadian, mangsa sedang menonton televisyen sebelum terdengar jeritan pembantu rumahnya di tingkat bawah rumah mangsa.Jurucakap polis berkata, mangsa bergegas ke bilik dan mengambil pistol lalu melepaskan tembakan amaran ke arah tangga rumahnya.

Menurutnya, mangsa mendapati pintu grill rumahnya itu sudah diumpil seterusnya melepaskan dua lagi tembakan ke arah hutan kerana mensyaki penjenayah terbabit melarikan diri ke kawasan itu.

Pemeriksaan mangsa mendapati bilik di tingkat empat rumahnya berada dalam keadaaan berselerak.Bagaimanapun, barang yang hilang masih belum dikenal pasti.

Diuruskan oleh The Wonderland+ di Malaysia, Penny tidak pernah gagal untuk memberi sokongan terhadap industri muzik tempatan. Malah, sewaktu pembikinan album yang memenangi dua anugerah itu, Penny menggunakan khidmat penulis lagu Malaysia dan juga ramai pemuzik tempatan. Kemenangan besar Penny itu melambangkan betapa hebatnya bakat rakyat Malaysia dalam muzik.

Datuk Sharifah Aini Meninggal Dunia

hi_02.1 (1)Biduanita negara, Datuk Sharifah Aini Syed Jaafar meninggal dunia pada pukul 1.26 pagi Sabtu di Pusat Perubatan Pakar Damansara.

Sharifah Aini, 61, meninggal dunia akibat fibrosis paru-paru atau ‘paru-paru berparut’.

Berita kematian penyanyi lagu Seri Dewi Malam itu disahkan oleh rakan baik Allahyarham iaitu Aishah Ali.

Sharifah Aini dimasukkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) pusat perubatan itu pada Selasa lalu selepas mengalami kesukaran bernafas namun keadaan penyanyi itu dilaporkan stabil.

Biduanita itu dikesan menghidap fibrosis paru-paru dua tahun lalu.

Allahyarham meninggalkan seorang anak lelaki iaitu Aliff Omar Ali.

Dalam pada itu, jenazah Allahyarham dijangka dibawa ke Masjid Al Taqwa Taman Tun Dr Ismail Kuala Lumpur selepas solat Subuh sebelum dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Kiara, dekat sini pada Sabtu.

Terdahulu, Allahyarham menerusi status Facebook miliknya sebelum ini pernah meminta peminat-peminatnya mendoakan kesejahteraan beliau selain meminta mereka menghadiahkan Al-Fatihah sekiranya beliau meninggal dunia.

Tulisan di FB itu menggambarkan seolah-olah beliau sudah merasakan bakal pergi buat selama-lamanya.
